    Listen in as host Michael Harris interview Artist Claudia Moody-Jones and her very unique Orgami Art.  As a recently retired teacher, Claudia Moody-Jones feels one of her greatest accomplishments was teaching art to children. She received several grants to teach after school art classes. As a professional artist Claudia has received awards and recognition through contests and competitions. She has been featured in a few online magazine articles in the Cloth, Paper and Scissors publication. Her work has also appeared in their hard copies for winning some of their challenges. Claudia has participated in shows and exhibitions in New York and in Los Angeles, where she lives.

    Join host Michael Harris in this entertaining and insiteful interview with artist Diane Morgan.  Diane Morgan is a graduated from University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, major in painting. After a successful career in advertising, and as Public Art Administrator for the City of Palm Springs, she now paints full-time. Diane is a member of the California Art Club, International Guild of Realism, American Watercolor Society, Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Watercolor West, The National Watercolor Society and past president of the Coachella Valley Watercolor Society.
    Formally trained in oils she now also paints with watercolor and enjoys the challenges each medium presents. Her paintings have won numerous awards including many Firsts, Best of Show and Best Local Artist.

    Master Sculptor Sabin Howard on creating realist art

    What does it take to create great figurative art in today's world? Join us as Master Sculptor Sabin Howard talks about the journey of the independent artist.


     


    Sabin Howard grew up in New York City and in Torino, Italy. He studied art at the Philadelphia College of Art and then earned his MFA from the New York Academy of Art. For twenty years, he taught at the graduate and undergraduate levels, before leaving academia to work full-time on his sculptures. He has been elected to the board of the National Sculpture. He has received numerous commissions and has showed his work at more than fifty solo and group shows. After 45,000 hours of working from life models in the studio, he is the creator of three heroic scale pieces, Hermes, Aphrodite, and Apollo, as well as many smaller pieces. His works are owned by museums and private collectors all over the world, and  have been favorably reviewed by The New York Times, American Artist, Fine Arts Connoisseur, American Arts Collector, and The New Criterion, as well as several foreign journals. He is the co-author of the book THE ART OF LIFE with his wife Traci L. Slatton.

    Join host Michael Harris as he interviews artist Wendy Layne.  Wendy Layne is a wife and mother of five children and grandmother of four boys. She is experienced with watercolor, acrylic, colored pencil, collage, and sculpting with clay. Wendy has loved art since her childhood.  Wendy’s goal is to spend the rest of her life deeply immersed in the art community inspiring other artists and art enthusiast with her work.  Her favorite art medium is colored pencils. She loves the detail that she is able to achieve. The majority of her art is realism with a bit of whimsy and she’s been told that most of her art has a Norman Rockwell feel.
