8 pm CST-Variety Show- Pamela Kelly welcomes Sonja Sadovsky author of The Priestess & the Pen
(Marion Zimmer Bradley, Dion Fortune & Diana Paxson's Influence on Modern Paganism)
This important book by debut author Sonja Sadovsky shines new light on how three captivating minds shaped the course of history. The fantasy novels of Dion Fortune, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and Diana L. Paxson influenced the image of the priestess in Neopagan and Goddess-centered spirituality throughout the world. The Priestess & the Pen shows how their work changed the way women are depicted in literature, created space for women to reclaim their power, and energized the women’s equality movement.
Presenting a reinterpretation of the Goddess as fourfold rather than threefold, The Priestess & the Pen adds dimension and relevance to the traditional Triple Goddess archetype in a way that has never before been considered with such compelling clarity. This book is poised to become a vital interpretation of the Pagan priestess.
At Pembroke Castle in medieval Wales,11-year-old Prince Gavin, 13-year-old orphan Philip, and 15-year-old blacksmith's apprentice Bryan, brought together in friendship by the one they call The Wild Man, embark upon a quest to save The Wild Man’s life when he is accused of murder and robbery. If they have any hope of succeeding, the three will have to confront their fears and insecurities, and one of them will have to disclose the biggest secret of all. But it is the arrival of King Arthur and what he reveals that surprises characters and readers. A Tween Adventure Novella Show More Show Less

Intangible: Piercing the Veil Book 1-
Peter Stewart grew up on a unique version of the Arthurian legends taught him by his father, a harebrained quantum physicist who asserts that anything is possible. But Peter disbelieves anything which cannot be scientifically explained, despite a nagging sense that there is more to the world than meets the eye.
Lily Portman is an orphan with a secret: she can see creatures that are invisible to everyone else. These creatures control every human being she has ever met to varying degrees... until she meets Peter and his father.
When a mysterious stranger stages an accident which nearly costs Peter and Lily their lives, suddenly Lily learns that she is not crazy after all, and Peter discovers the truth of his father’s stories… including the existence of Arthur’s ancient nemesis, one who calls himself the Shadow Lord, and a prophecy with implications so profound that it will alter not only the course of their lives, but potentially the fate of the world.
