Today we will have a lively conversaton with artist Carol DuChamp about the Art of Life and the Art of Trekking. She is fellow Arts and Healing artist and currently she is in our Art 4 All People exhibiton, MUSE: The Art of Transformation and Healing at the Institute for Art and Healing at Commonweal in Bolinas. Listen in for the transformation.
A local Bolinas resident, Carol Duchamp began her practice as a painter in 1985 under the watercolor mentorship of artist Jackie Kirk, and began exhibiting her paintings in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1993.
Indeterminacy and chance play a role, as does the element of water. Carol paints on pre-soaked 300-lb Arches watercolor paper. Her process takes place in the unplanned moment. This is both the beauty and the challenge. If the spirit is clear at the time of painting, access to intuitive resources becomes easier. If the mind is cluttered, the level of concentration is diminished and the result put at risk.
Carol is passionate about the healing powers of creativity, and imagination as essential creative principle. She taught Healing Art Transition courses at UC Santa Cruz Extension and enjoys helping others nurture their inner artist. She studied Transformative Arts at JFKU in Berkeley. She is founder and director of Art Trek, a small company that orchestrates travel study art classes to exotic such as France, French Polynesia, Italy, the American Southwest and Bali & Java, Indonesia. Carol is also a writer whose novella Garlic and Roses is nearing completion.

Wine may be bottled poetry and elegant joy, but it stands as one of the toughest business operations to bring to fruition. In celebration of harvest time and New Jersey Wine Week, host Bart Jackson invites Larry Sharrott, president of the Garden State Winegrowers Association and owner of Sharrott Winery to discuss the business side of titilating your palate. Winemaking is regulated heavily by the hand of law, blessed by the god Bacchus, and, often as not, cursed by winds of fate and weather. New Jersey vintners have been steadily advancing the overdue respect for Garden State wines - an amazingly clever tale of branding. Tune in and learn how farmers survive and thrive making the beverage the whole globe enjoys.
The questions impose are what was good art and bad art in the Da Da movement? What made good art and bad art of the abstract movement, the conclusion will be that art is in the eye of the beholder of what good art is and what bad art is. Most of my art is considered to be a bit strange. So, is it good or bad to have strange art or to be different? What about some of the most famous, were they weird? Tune in to the Edna Stewart Show to find out.

The challenge is clear, the public revulsion point is nearing the "trip wire."
There is little confidence in the mainstream media, corporate / agency partnership collaborators,
except within their own visions, goal value priorities and special indoctrination.
Every American needs to understand that the entire national press is controlled, and is simply giving you the "news" you are supposed to have. . Please go to http://freeamerican.com and www.shop.freeamerican.com to order my books and the new Free American Magazines.
