Ripstein, who lives in Florida, is recognized worldwide for her art, and the unique, patented and unprecedented, Invisible Art techniques that she created. She is also recognized globally for her work with the United Nations as a peace envoy. Born in Mexico, self-taught but already on her way as an acclaimed artist at the age of 12, she has long earned the praise of international art collectors and critics. However, much like her artwork, the origins of The Art of HealingArt is itself steeped in mystery. For three years, from 2005 to 2008, Ripstein was unable to speak. Doctors could only surmise that she had suffered a stroke or brain injury, but they ultimately diagnosed a brain tumor. Suffering from a complete lack of vital energy, she couldn't live a normal life. Unable to communicate, Jacqueline drew inward and began to receive the "lessons" offered in the book. Eventually one doctor finally did discover the cause of her disability--the complete collapse of her immune system. It took one more year of intense treatments to restore her health. But tests showed that Jacqueline's pineal gland behind her forehead had grown to large unusual dimensions--the part of the body associated with The Third Eye...the chakra that connects us to the non-visible world.

Reigning from the small town of Tyner, NC, John McCraig Overton, Delmonte Jordan, and Antonio Copeland not only share a love for music, but they also share a bond that links them more than music ever could. Although John and Delmonte were born on the same day and one hour apart, John is Delmonte's uncle. Virtually raised as brothers, they would later meet Antonio at a restaurant where they all worked. They went from flipping burgers to flipping beats and rhymes and that would eventually become life for these three gentlemen. Speaking of life, these young men faced the typical trials and tribulations that most youth do growing up in North Carolina but their passion for sports, video games, and girls kept them on the right path. They understood at a young age that getting money was their main objective and they wanted to get it through something the invoked passion in the people around them and not fear. Since that point, Da Gwop Krew has been on a relentless mission to get that gwop.

We are all partly to blame for what is happening in Ferguson, MO. Each time we stood by and watched a police officer kill an innocent person and we did nothing has played a roll in the frustration of the protestors in Ferguson. Each time we watched a grand jury come back and "no bill" an officer after he/she killed an innocent person and we did nothing has played a roll in the frustration of the protestors of Ferguson. So, today we all have a responsibility to get laws on the books that hold police officers accountable for overkill shots, using excessive force, using harassment techniques on citizens who speak out against police brutality, more transparency in there investigations, independent organizations to oversee police shootings and so much more.
Last week we discussed the topic: "Mike Brown's Murder Catalyst for Unrest in Ferguson, Part I attached in the link to that show. Please join us August 22, 2014 from 8-10pm CST/9-11pm EST as we will bring you part II of this discussion. If you would like to chime in on this topic Friday night call in and let your voice be heard @ (347 850-8390.
