Seduction is, in its highest form, far more than a one-note, wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am skill: it's a ritual with a complex set of rules. It can't be too aggressive, or the element of beguiling is lost in the relentless advances; but neither should it be too refined, too unobtrusive because then the interplay between the two protagonists is lost.
From Casonova to Errol Flynn, and women too such as Catherine The Great, the art of seduction has played a mojor role in many different social classes. It is said that you do not have to be beautiful or handsome to seduce the opposite sex. Really? Then what is is the secret to being a successful seducer?
Casonova's technique? Discover a lady in trouble; be attentive; extricate her from her difficulty; bestow small gifts; use alluring words; make hay; get bored; exit stage left.
Catherine The Great? Employing a former lover to do the work for you: after her affair with Potemkin, he would select a candidate-lover for her who had both the looks and the intelligence to hold Catherine's interest.
Errol Flynn? If the expression "in like Flynn" really does refer to him, then that says it all.

One of the forms of Integrity in Leadership shows up in being responsive and true. We say "Yes" when we mean it, and "No" when that is our truth.
So, why is it so difficult to find people who honor the RSVP request? Anyone else tired of scheduling an event and no one RSVP's? Maybe asking more than once for a response?
Yes, I'm guilty too, of failing to respond, waiting to check my calendar and then forgetting.
With so many forms of communication, it makes the process even more of a maze...let's talk about this lost art and how we can all be better at it.

Keith Handy has been composing, arranging, performing, recording, and producing original music since his childhood in the early 1980s, primarily, but not exclusively, in the style of progressive or "art" rock, including several concept albums and a rock opera.
Early on, he functioned primarily as keyboard player and support vocalist for various original and cover bands, but soon decided it was more important to focus on continued artistic growth than to navigate the internal politics of band membership. He started acquiring recording gear, learning the guitar, and going ever deeper with the crafts of arrangement and production.
In line with Keith's passion for the continual study of the creative process in all forms, he has since branched out into improv comedy (incorporating copious amounts of improvised music), computer art, programming in C++ for generative art and signal processing, puppetry and puppet making, and video editing.
Still a studio hermit, his long term goal is to make the bulk of his work available as a "box set" type multimedia package, as well as have a chunk of that collection visually interpreted as video and theatre.
When not immersed in all this complicated stuff, he is happy to drink a beer or two and play a few old songs on an acoustic guitar at your backyard fire.
