VOC Nation Radio Network is your home for unfiltered, uncensored talk radio that you can talk back to.
VOC Nation traces its roots back to Philadelphia AM radio in 2009. Bruce Wirt had a vision for hard hitting, opinionated, and interactive talk radio that listeners could take with them anywhere in the world. Over the next 5 years, Wirt exited Philadelphia radio and expanded that vision; partnerships with Blogtalkradio, Stitcher, Podomatic, and iTunes give listeners daily, live, interactive talk radio that can be downloaded moments after the completion of each broadcast.
A 2014 merger with IN THE ROOM Radio led to the appointment of Brady Hicks as Chief Operating Office and Program Director of VOC Nation Radio, with Wirt staying on as CEO and Executive Producer, but taking a backseat from daily operations.
Today, VOC Nation provides award winning programming in the genres of pro wrestling, pop culture, news, and comedy. Crabnation gives you daily news; AK gives you R-rated laughs on the Weekend Funhouse; Pro Wrestling fans can Save Wrestling with Shelly and Danielle Martinez; they can share Pandemonium with Nani and Kevin; Mark Out with Erik and David in Wrestling Nation; talk WCW with the Stro; or go IN THE ROOM with Brady Hicks and crew. Nancy Silberkleit of Archie Comic Publications stepped into her role as the Co-CEO of the company in 2009 with the vision that the comic book, as a graphic novel, is a valuable tool for developing literacy among first-time readers and instilling love for reading in everyone. Nancy taught art for over 20 years and has seen the power of comics to encourage literacy and creativity in children. It is a natural progression for children, as a bridge to reading from the picture books of their younger years.
Having recognized that young readers may not have access to comic books, she created the Comic Book Fairs at schools across America and Canada, as an event to ignite an interest in reading. In addition, Nancy has established her own foundation Rise Above Social Issues Foundation, Inc., as a non-profit that addresses challenging social issues, such as childhood obesity and other chronic medical conditions, as well as bullying, discrimination and environmental concerns through comic books. Nancy has also worked to develop comics that promote children’s health, including ‘JD Shapes Up,’ an illustrated manual aiming to reduce childhood obesity.”
An avid and sought-after speaker, Nancy has also spoken at the ‘INK conference in association with TED, 2012’ and the ‘One Globe 2012: Uniting Knowledge Communities’ conference in India, amongst other prestigious events around the world. Nancy has been widely recognized in the media for serving as a unique voice in promoting literacy through the medium of comic books and her transition from an educator to a business leader. She was recently featured in the Indian edition of the Fortune magazine.

The VOC Nation Radio Network traces its roots back to 2009 in suburban Philadelphia. Bruce Wirt took over the afternoon shift on the Voice America Health and Wellness Network and proclaimed himself, “your new ‘Voice of Choice’ in afternoon radio.” The V-O-C in VOC Nation was born.
Over the next 3 years, Wirt took his act to Philadelphia radio, eventually settling in at independently owned WNJC 1360AM. The VOC Nation Radio Network spun away from WNJC in October 2012 and took to the “cloud”, using their solid fan base to instantly become one of the most listened to mediums on the Internet. In 2014, VOC Nation merged with Brady Hicks' IN THE ROOM Internet Radio Network, giving the combined medium over 50,000 monthly listeners.
VOC Nation Radio streams live programming 7 days a week, and has forged partnerships with BlogTalkRadio, Stitcher Internet Radio, Podomatic, iTunes, and GoDaddy to bring daily live entertainment and downloadable podcasts to listeners worldwide. VOC Nation has over 100,000 twitter followers and has consistently ranked in the top 1% of downloadable podcasts as ranked by Podomatic, and in the top 5% of live streaming programming as ranked by Stitcher Internet Radio.
BARRY HAS FUN WITH HIS NEW POWERS BUT A SETBACK MAKES HIM QUESTION HIS ABILITY TO BE A HERO — Barry (Grant Gustin) escorts Iris (Candice Patton) to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg (guest star William Sadler). When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells (Tom Cavanagh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe (Jesse Martin) comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black (guest star Michael Christopher Smith), who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the “red streak.” David Nutter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Andrew Kreisberg & Geoff Johns.
