Imam W. Deen Mohammed’s Endorsing Comments Regarding:The Language of Revelation: Classical Arabic Language Instruction and Exercises with Qur’aan CommentaryFor Beginners & Non-Beginners By Siddeeq Jihad www.siddeeqjihad.com
I want to bring to our attention an achievement, a publication that has been produced mainly for our community but is for anybody who wants some help from the material that has been put into this publication. The book is called The Language of Revelation. It is by a brother that I have known to be dedicated and devoted to the study of Qur’aanic Arabic and the teaching of that subject to our students and to grown-ups as well. And that is brother Siddeeq Jihad. I think that most of us know him.Brother Siddeeq Jihad would you please stand and face the audience... I would highly recommend this book for you all, who are studying (grown-ups) but also for our youngsters who are studying separate organized Qur’aanic Studies classes and who are also studying in our school system. Clara Muhammad School System like the one in Atl., Wash. D.C., Chi. & many other places. I highly recommend this book... Qur’aanic Arabic with lessons and studies to improve your ability to read the Qur’aan and get more understanding and to qualify yourself, In-shaa Allah to be a teacher one day. Because out of you, from you who are interested in Qur’aanic Arabic, we’re going to get our next generation of teachers, Imams and leaders. So Allah be with you all and bless you to benefit from these wonderful projects and publications that our community is producing... I’m grateful to Allah for students and scholars like our brother, Siddeeq Jihad. Congratulations, my brother! 7-6-08 Markham, IL. www.siddeeqjihad.com

On today's Life Lessons show, discover why small businesses are so important to America?
· How veterans can get help turning a hobby or passion into their own small business?
· Where entrepreneurs can get the resources and information they need to start a business?
· Who is eligible to take advantage of a Navy Federal Business Services membership?
We hear a lot about helping our brave veterans, but the sad fact is that despite an improving economy, many vets have difficulty finding employment after leaving the military. The jobless rate among vets remains higher than the civilian population. That’s why, in celebration of National Small Business Week (May 1-7), the not-for-profit Navy Federal Credit Union is hoping to spread the word that entrepreneurship – if done right – can be a rewarding career for military veterans. To kick off National Small Business Week, we have a special interview with Jim Salmon, the head of Business Lending at Navy Federal Credit Union. A decorated veteran himself, Salmon will also discuss why it’s good business to support veteran-owned and operated businesses and how veterans have many of the skills necessary to run a successful business.

The death of the musical genious, PRINCE, left many worldwide in surprise and sadness and asking the question why he had to leave us at the age of 57. Your host, Viyahta, will give some insight into the many lessons he's given us in both his life and death. A devoted Jehovah's witness, PRINCE led a life that could be considered contradicting to his faith but looking at the whole picture his journey was perfect to teach us life lessons and take his death "to heart". Tonight you won't hear any of this from the church.

Have you ever had the experience of creating a lesson plan that you think is great and the kids will love it, and then it just doesn't work? What do you do? Do you keep going and teach the lesson even when you know it’s not working? If you stop the lesson then what? What do you do with the kids for the rest of the period. Has an experience like this stifled your creativity because you don’t want to risk another “bad” lesson?
As teachers we have all been there. There are times when what you have planned just doesn’t work. Simone Padur, APS teacher, is brilliant in her ability to deal with these unforeseen circumstances that can just throw off your day. She will share real life experiences from her classroom and will talk about how she turned the situations around. Not only did she turn the situations around, but so much greater came from what could have been disasters. Simone is a kind and caring teacher with a lightness and openness that kids love that also provide an atmosphere of growth and learning.

When Gallup and the Knight Foundation set out to answer the question “What attaches people to their communities?” they found that the key reasons cited by residents for loving their cities were entertainment and social offerings, how welcoming the city is and its aesthetics — in other words, the arts and culture. That finding was not news to Alderman Michael Scott, Jr., or his wife Natashee. The couple have been patrons of the arts for years. In an effort to build community and make North Lawndale a destination for arts and entertainment, the Scotts started the annual Westside Musical Festival, which will run again on August 20 2016.
Join Natashee and Michael Scott, Jr. as they share lessons learned in developing the festival. We will discuss ways the Westside Music Festival is being used to build community; develop a sense of place for North Lawndale and to spur economic development and tourism.
