Welcome back to another great topic headed by Oshay the great. Tonight We will be talking about if Men should pay for drinks WHEN encountering women on the first interaction. We will also talk about if men should pay for dates when going out with women all the time. This will be a great show and I I want to hear your opinion on the matter. I for one will be weighing in as usual. Co host Lindsey will be also weighing in and Joseph Moss.
Freelance Columnist, HuffPost Blogger, and Social Media Coordinator Lauren Messervey joins "Upfront & Straightforward" Host Alan Roger Currie to discuss and debate whether or not the idea of single heterosexual men approaching women in public venues (such as shopping malls, grocery stores, or simply walking down the street) is representative of "sexual harassment."

There is a new campaign that many women are jumping behind. One that focuses on when men go over the line when approaching a woman. Some guys feel that if legislation gets passed on street harassment, it can lead to women using the law to get men locked up just for saying hi, just because she was in a bad mood.
There's some validity to why there's a big fuss, but can this escalate into something detrimental to men and women interacting with one another?
And to the ladies, what harassment have they faced that would constitute for such actions?

Continuing our discussion on the state of the Black family...Women's roles in relationships and a household are major. They are the bearers of life, the nurturers, the soft balance in a hard situation, and in essence...the first link to love for all of the people in their lives. When a woman is not at her best, balance is thrown off, because of the many hats she wears, love is always at the base. In today's society, women are harder, "independent", misfocused, and on another path. Parental love and intimate love are addressed as companionship and hook-ups, as women's resourcefulness and perserverance abilities have been beaten down by the many beasts of the modern world. Why do you think Black women have a problem trusting love? Join in tonight by calling 347-32-9967 at 10:30 pm EST.
