    God In the Midst otherwise known as G.I.T.M or GITM is an apostolic ministry whose charge is to help encourage, edify and equip the people of God who are called to Home Churches, Small Churches and Para Church ministries. Home or house Churches usually have 20 people or less, Small Churches are up to 100 adults and Para Church ministries could be Bible Studies, Prayer groups, men or women’s ministries that are not Churches in and of themselves but walk alongside the Church. We are featuring one Home, Small or Para Church ministry each month by interviewing them.  We hope that as you hear them tell their personal testimonies, share with us the history and current goings on at the Church,  the Lord will confirm what He has placed on your heart or it may encourage you to step out boldly …it may even catapult you to that next dimension in the Lord & ministry.  Our Host is Apostle Barbara Kizzie

    "Reach Out and Touch the Lord"... Apostle E. Cooper - ELRC

    in Christianity

    Not only did the woman with the issue get healed at the touch of His garment so did soooo many others. In this day and age saints have turned into just church folk. Not seeking the Lord but for relationship but what ever they can get. In Jesus day they came from far and near just to receive what everyone else had, a healing, blessed, deliverance touch from the Lord. The disciples developed a relationship because they spent a lot of time with Jesus, The others were people who only knew of Him and what He was qualified to do.

    Reason #1 is why the pharisees could not get the true concept of the deliverer. When you reach out and touch Him in FAITH... change WILL come. You will not only seek what He has but you will seek to be with Him... in fellowship with Him, in His company.

    GOD'S GUMSHOE INVESTIGATES: "PAUL in The Acts of The Apostles #3 "

    in Spirituality

    The Acts of the Apostles: Paul as Missionary

    From 3 perspectives

    * The Biblical worldview

    * The Academic/Scholastic

    * The Urantia Book

    It was only natural that the cult of renunciation and humiliation should have paid attention to sexual gratification. The continence cult in later days it became the practice of "saints."  Many of the world's great religions have been adversely influenced by this ancient cult, but none more markedly than Christianity.

    The Apostle Paul was a devotee of this cult, and his personal views are reflected in the teachings which he fastened onto Christian theology.  Paul well knew that such teachings were not a part of Jesus' gospel, and his acknowledgment of this is illustrated by his statement, "I speak this by permission and not by commandment." But this cult led Paul to look down upon women. Furthermore, the involvement of a religion with the ancient continence cult leads directly to a war against marriage and the home, society's veritable foundation and the basic institution of human progress. And it is not to be wondered at that all such beliefs fostered the formation of celibate priesthoods in the many religions of various peoples
