Capitalism is under attack, and it seems there are many who are pushing for a Socialistic movement in our Country. The one problem Isee with either is that it takes our eyes off Christ and puts them on man. This program will hopefully get you thinking about what the bible says about either.

Most citizens of the planet live under the economic constructs of Global Capitalism. How should we as Christians/Messianics look to move witin this system and culture
In this episode, we decided to ask ourselves a few questions.
Why is there so much focus on things that are not important to our spiritual growth or our souls?
Why is the talk about money (prosperity gospel) and all of this motivational speaking disguised as sound teaching?
Why are people falling for these things left and right?
1 John 4:1-4 will tell you a great deal about discerning false prophets and the spirit of the Anti-Christ. Listen in and join the conversation as we see how this particular spirit has and still is influencing what we call church today. Mind you, this is a very clever demonic spirit that has been around a long time. It usually goes unnoticed, probably because of all the distractions that accompany it.

In this episode, we share books we've read over the years that are useful for understanding and critiquing capitalism and socialism. When I say I'm "anti-theism", I mean I think theism is bad. I think any good it does is outweighed by the bad. But that doesn't mean I'm "anti-theist". Theists are lovely people. They just hold bad ideas.
Now I realize it's hard to separate the people from the ideas. But I think we are more effective when we do. I think that by contrasting the amazing person with the vile beliefs, this helps people realize they are better than their religion.
Plus, your calls.

Dale Lehman of WZRD public radio provided this important talk.
Dr. Parenti provides a critique of capitalism as the driving logic of empire, which globalizes exploitation and inequality. While contemporary economics typically defends the benefits of free-market capitalism, Parenti argues that global capitalism is run by and for transnational corporations. Anything good that exists with in the Capitalist State is the result of grassroots
organizing and democratic struggle against the owners of Capital and the State which acts as their protector.
He is introduced by Dr. Richard Gilman-Opalsky who moderates the Q&A following the talk.
