Every Child of God Has Victory

    in Christianity

Seeing our victories in Gods victories.  Some people are going through suffering times, but we all must remember that our successes are really in what God did already before we came to earth.  VICTORY is overcoming an antagonist.  Achieving success when the odds are stacked against you or there is some one that says you cannot achieve something when you do achieve some kind of difficulty.

Special prayer is still going on for people in unity here and some of you need to sow a seed---God is faithful, will you show faithfulness to him as you sow to His Kingdom?

Knowing your purpose is a self discovery process ( Repeat from last week)

    in Spirituality

Knowing your purpose is a discovery process, it is not something that you will discover by completing a personality assessment or taking a weekend retreat to the mountains with a famous guru.  Although, it may include these things it’s not the whole picture. So, I want to invite you to consider rediscovering parts of your journey, to create more win- win situations and less roadblocks and obstacles.

I also want to invite you to consider a plan that is more creative and imaginative, as a substitute to a plan that is fixed and narrowly focused.  Today we are going to override the patterns that have become the antagonist to our paths and life story.Today we will also address the notion that, there are people for everything and the importance of how our purpose reveals our impact.

The Believer Battles/Dr Pat Holliday/Dr Sabrina Sessions/Marshall Perot

    in Religion

    Upon this Rock

The Bible shows the devil at a great disadvantage concerning his power over Christians. He is shown as an inferior antagonist in light of what Jesus Christ gave to His church. Satan can only take the place that he is given. The Word of God says in (Jam. 4:7), “Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

The Scripture makes it clear that the battle is not our personal battle. We are part of the war but the battle is the Lord’s. We are led by the unconquerable One. The battle rests upon His ability and He has already won the war! (Read Jn. 14: 15-27).

Actor Stan Houston with Boyd and Lucinda

    in Lifestyle

Atlanta - Every actor dreams of that career-defining role, the one that lands him in a blockbuster film alongside big Hollywood stars. Well when actor Stan Houston was initially offered his 'big break' to read for the role of the racist antagonist Sheriff Jim Clark in the now Oscar nominated film, "Selma," he actually turned it down twice, and with good reason. Distributed by Paramount Pictures, Selma is a historical period piece that covers a critical episode in the civil rights movement. As a resident of Coffee County in the Southeastern area of Alabama, Houston actually lives in the same small town whereSheriff James G. Clark lived and died. Houston felt the dynamics of playing such a controversial role might just be too close to home. He eventually read for the role, and in a move showcasing director Ava DuVernay's dedication to authenticity, he was selected.Houston has been acting professionally for six years now. "Selma" is his most significant booking to date. His larger than life portrayal of Sheriff Clark has garnered him international attention and acclaim. Performing directly alongside Oprah Winfrey, who plays civil rights activist Annie Lee Cooper, Houston's fiery.

Happy Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King

    in Entertainment

What is your dream? We also talk about the movie  Selma' Backlash Misses The PointBut Selma's treatment of President Lyndon B. Johnson has sparked a controversy that could threaten the film's legacy and, in the short term, its chances for prestigious awards. As portrayed by British actor Tom Wilkinson, LBJ is a beleaguered president and is — at times — exasperated with King on the issue of voting rights. Historically, LBJ and King formed an effective political relationship on the issue, although real tensions emerged between the two men when Johnson suggested that voting legislation be pursued later, rather than earlier, in the congressional session. Johnson feared that an immediate push for the black vote would undermine his ambitions for a "Great Society." Selma's script hews close to the historical record on this point. Still, the unsympathetic portrayal of Johnson suggests a president who was an antagonist on voting rights rather than a supporter. and box office. Join the Tournament Of Film Festival

"City of Lost Souls" director Jason Baustin, Altorro Black and Bobby J. Brown

    in Entertainment

The King of DC Media, William Powell, welcomes City of Lost Souls director Jason Baustin, Altorro Prince Black and Bobby J. Brown to the Inside Acting radio show to talk about their tense crime drama.

Read my article about the show here: City of Lost Souls premieres at AFI Silver Theatre

CITY OF LOST SOULS is a tense, compelling crime drama that pulls the audience into an unforgettably, murky world. You can see the awards it's going to win.

The short film (some call it a TV pilot) premiered at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, MD, Monday, November 10th. CITY OF LOST SOULS is the product of director Jason Baustin's Traveste Films. The film follows the life challenges of ex-con Mickey Wallace (Bobby J. Brown of THE WIRE fame) and his antagonist Assistant State's Attorney Roger Kenfield (the always excellent Altorro Prince Black).

The consensus of the audience at the premier was they wanted exploration and payoffs of the multiple, compelling storylines, which covered everything from legal horse-trading to political payoffs. The film felt like the pilot to a great TV series in the vein of BREAKING BAD or the SOPRANOS.

Yours truly, The King of DC Media, highly recommends it!

In Short Order -- Robert Jones, Live Streaming CEO

    in Health

November 2-8 is LDN Awareness Week.  The 2014 LDN AIIC Conference is raising awareness about a ground-breaking drug (LDN) that has proven beneficial in treating over 175 health conditions

Physicians, patients and experts from all over the world will gather in Las Vegas this November at a major conference to discuss and raise awareness about a ground-breaking drug that can help eradicate pain for those affected by a range of autoimmune diseases and conditions.

The LDN 2014 AIIC Conference 2014 will take place on the 7th and 8th November at the MEET in Las Vegas with a number of high profile medical experts confirmed to speak.

Doctors around the world are now starting to realize the benefits of using LDN (Low Dose Naltrexone) to treat a range of conditions from Crohn’s and HIV to MS, ME, Lyme, arthritis, infertility and more.

LDN has traditionally been used in higher doses (50mg) to treat drug/alcohol addicts but, since the 1980s, doctors have prescribed it in lower doses (3-4.5mg), and it is currently helping over a quarter of a million people worldwide suffering from a range of autoimmune conditions.

As a result, and to raise awareness of how other people could be helped, the LDN Research Trust was set up in 2004.

LDN works as an opiate antagonist, inhibiting natural endorphins thus forcing the body to produce more which, in turn, reduces painful symptoms and improves well-being and those using it have experienced a huge improvement in their conditions, with some disappearing altogether.

The LDN 2014 AIIC Conference 2014 will include expert presenters and panelists, all streamed live.
