We're THIS CLOSE to using a cattle prod on some of these annoying people, places and things. How do some people manage to cross the street without wearing a helmet? 90% of our day is spent shaking our heads at these tragic idiots, yet, we say nothing. From Trump running for president, to Kanye announcing he'll run for president in the year 2020, we will disect the moronic statements and actions of what we see, hear and experience. Even throwing shade on ourselves as we aren't beyond a lapse in judgement.
Our hosts, Tommy & Lisa, will most definitely run you through every emotion possible, as they wield a comedic ax at the obvious and fling mud in the face of those who had the misfortune of annoying them. Nothing is sacred, and no one is off limits. Even their own family, friends, coworkers and lovers are at the mercy of their observations.
We're so excited to Joe Symes and The Loing Kind Band and they are going to help us to understand the heart that goes into the songs that we love!
Music can help us express emotion that is hard to verbalize!!!
Hard Rock/Heavy Metal
There are 4 basic families of human emotion that you'll use as a songwriter to connect to listeners through song:

Love - acceptance, awe, lust, admiration
Anger - agitation, annoyance, bitterness, betrayal, rage, resentment, envy

Most consumers understand the annoyance of pop-up ads attempting to share what little important screen space you’ve currently got in front of you.
While some consumers are still unaware of the miracle that is ad blocking, corporations like Google who rely on ads for revenue, are freely offering these services as extensions on their browsers. One would think the revenue stream would be affected, yet Apple is launching its ad block option with iOS 9 in the fall. Will this leave profits flat for investors, or does Google have something up their sleeve to defeat the downfall?

Liam Cawley asked:
Nadia, when someone annoys us, how much of the annoyance is them and how much is it us? If we were fully conscious like let’s say Christ is would we not be annoyed by anyone? I find someone an annoyance and I can’t figure out whether its projection or not. Christ does say to run not walk away from others when we don’t trust the energy, is that Christ’s way of dealing with the annoyance? Not being around to be annoyed. I'm far from perfect myself and perhaps I annoy a few people myself but clarity on how to deal with others (and myself) when there is friction would be a help. Thank you.

Thaddeus Russell is author of A Renegade History of the United States (Free Press, 2010). Russell's talk was recorded by Todd Boyle and broadcast on "Mind Over Matters" by Mike McCormick (www.talkingsticktv.org).
New World Notes is produced under the auspices (Latin for "gun") of WWUH-FM, a community service of that beacon of light in darkest Connecticut, the University of Hartford.
The leisure we enjoy today--weekends, vacations, etc--was not granted freely by employers. Rather, it was taken without permission by "renegade" workers of decades past. These included slaves, drunken craftsmen, unmotivated factory hands, etc. For instance, plantation slaves established the practice of "vacation"--much to the annoyance of their masters. (They'd agree to return in exchange for not being punished.)
Part 2 focuses on sex and women's rights. Many rights and freedoms enjoyed today by U.S. women (and their male friends) were won for them--not by feminists--but by 19th & early-20th century prostitutes & madams. These include the right to own property; to acquire wealth; to dance, smoke, and drink in public; to wear attractive clothing; to give or receive oral sex; to have interracial intimacy; and to use contraceptives.
A rollicking good story, well-told by Thaddeus Russell.
Fear charges the air as you watched your parents talk about, and go about bills and family needs.
Anger charges the air as husbands and wives argue, because you swear she treats you like a wallet.
Panic charges the air as the entrepreneur faces payroll.
Anxiety charges the air as the young man buys the engagement ring.
Annoyance charges the air as the beggar approaches for some help.
Pain charges the air as you tell your baby, "No!", to the plea for a gaming computer.
Jealousy charges the air as you wish you could keep up with the Jones's who just bought yet another _____.
Desperation charges the air as you throw in a bigger discount than you can afford, in hopes of enticing that prospect to buy from you.
Frustration charges the air as you drag yourself off to a job you hate because you need the paycheck.
Let's face it, there are many negative emotions around money. There are some positive ones too:
Joyful exuberance charges the air as you learned you won the lottery.
Relief charges the air on payday.
Pride charges the air when you get a promotion with a raise
Fun charges the air when you spend your birthday money gifts
Special charges the air when your date goes all out for you.
Confidence charges the air when your investment pays as, or better than expected.
How we feel about money influences how we make it, spend it, and keep it. Admit it. Understand it, Manage it. Tune in.

What is patience? The dictionary says: "Patience is the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, difficulty, or annoyance without getting angry or upset." I don’t know anyone whose life is free of these three. Patience is The simple and important choice to be willing to wait. And what matter the most is what you do while you are waiting."
Here are few tips to help: Become mindful when you become impatience. Ask yourself: How do I feel about the sitution? Occupy your mind with something. Practice this every day and every where. Write in your journal the time that you consciuosly made to practice patience.
You can do it, I believe in you!

Anger is an emotional response related to one's psychosociological interpretation of having been threatened. Often it indicates when one's basic boundaries are violated. Some have a learned tendency to react to anger through retaliation. Anger may be utilized effectively when utilized to set boundaries or escape from dangerous situations.
How much control do we really have? Why do reactions vary so widely between people or even day to day for the same person? And what are the benefits and drawbacks of expressing ourselves? Understanding anger in all its forms and intensities, from annoyance to irritation to rage, can make a big difference in our ability to take a step back and process this powerful and complicated emotion
