So, No Biff this week. He had to attend a wedding. Life stuff. It's cool. Geeks have lives, afterall!
Danimator's chum and returning guest, Turo will be playing the roll of Biff ... kinda-sorta. You'll see. Anyhow, we want to talk about animation and one of our favorite directors of all time, Hayao Miyazaki! Plus, with the latest news about Studio Ghibli closing, it makes you wonder ... what's up for the future of animation?
Dan WAS gonna title this week's show "Turo's Dreams and Punching Bulls in the Face", because we've mentioned Turo's fun-filled and curious dreams in his first show with us (see Geek Pile #17 - Turo & Dan: Adventures in Puberty), so we thought it might be fun to share some of those dreams. We'll also talk about how playing an arcade game nearly got him killed in real-time-high-def!
We might talk about Yaphet Koto and Bill Paxton as well as crazy, classic anime ... but we might not.
Just listen in, we have fun.
We're all super excited about the new Star Wars Rebels TV series ... and none more excited than Danimator's old buddy! See, Vaughn missed out on all the hype for Clone Wars, because he was involved in it as a storyboard artist before anyone could even guess what it was gonna be about! But not this time, man. We're ALL about the hype and it's gonna be a blast hangin' out and imagining what the heck is gonna go down ... on "REBELS!!" "Rebels!" Yeah, Rebels!" "Haha ... rebels"
We'll also re-visit his Clone Wars experience, get retro about the old college and Wild Brain days. Plus, talk about a certain commercial he worked on that Biff will ... "Go Lion" over ... I mean crazy. BIff is crazy.

Kris also works along side our previous show guest, Alan Lau at GhostBot! We realize she's just a girl, but it's sure to be a good show anyhow. ;) ( ... sorry, couldn't resist that one)
