ArtFairCalendar.com has just finished its 2nd annual "America's Best Art Fairs" survey and we announce the winners. This is the only national online survey of the country's juried art fairs and craft shows, designed to reward the festivals that create opportunities connecting artists and communities to celebrate the arts.
We asked our mailing list of over 50,000 art fair patrons what was the best art fair in the country and had an amazing nationwide response. Nearly 90% of the respondents completed the lengthy 20 question survey and the answers were both expected and intriguing.
Not surprisingly: people love to attend art fairs and many travel long distances to do so. The overall conclusion is: Art is Alive and Well in America and attendance at the nation's shows is proof of that.
Listen to find out what the Top 50 shows in the country are as voted on by the people who attend them and collect art. Find out which they have chosen as the best regional fairs, best urban fair, best small market show and the best cities for art fairs.
We'll share the survey answers on:
what makes a show "Best"
why people say they attend an art fair
how art fair goers find out about shows to attend
why they don't attend shows they used to love
how far they travel to art fairs
their suggestions for show organizers
Laura Berarducci from the Ann Arbor Convention & Visitors Bureau also reports on the economic impact of the Ann Arbor Art Fairs in that community.
The mission of ArtFairCalendar.com is to promote the unique American tradition of art fairs by showcasing the events where art collectors find hand-crafted, one-of-a-kind fine work for sale and encourage the interaction of client and creator.
Hi, Did you KNOW......As I speak, Anger is moving swiftly in the Body of Christ? The spirit of MURDER is freely visiting the very Elect. Families of faith and even faith movements have silently cradled anger to the point of angry Public and Pulpit messages. Lord help US ALL today! No wonder we have angry children in communities and schools.....WHY?...they watch and listen to what suppose to be love messages but instead they witness family, friends, and church-house corrupt communication!
Creativity seems to bloom in women over fifty as we yearn to express ourselves more fully. Our guest, Melanie Rothschild, holds a Master’s Degree in the Art of Creativity. She’s also a self-taught artist and author of The Art of Mistakes. So, if you have a hankering to pick up a paint brush but fear you won’t do it “right,” you’ll want to be sure to hear Melanie’s thoughts on independently forging your own creative path.
As a housewife, Carole Dean, took a $20 bill and turned it into a $50 million a year industry when she coined the phrase “short ends” and began buying and selling film left over from production. She was instrumental in the birth of the Hollywood independent film community which took advantage of her discounted raw stock. In 1992, Carole created the Roy W. Dean Grant which has provided filmmakers with millions of dollars in goods and services and played a crucial role in establishing the careers of our most important documentary filmmakers.
Carole is the author of The Art of Film Funding: Alternative Financing Concepts, now in its second edition, and The Art of Manifesting: Creating Your Future. She is the executive producer for Women Behind the Camera, BAM 6.6, American Chain Gang and Step Away From the Stone. Carole is the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award 2012 from the Women's International Film & Television Showcase (TheWIFTS), and is also a partner with Indiegogo raising over a half million dollars with filmmakers.

TheTAPI Network is starting a late-night format with uncensored, no-holds-barred, live adult chat where we discuss an array of myths and misconceptions surrounding love and the melanin community. We don't "sip tea" in here...we marinate in our subject matter and simmer with observations, opinions, and thoughts until a conscious brew begins to percolate.
Join us tonight as we discuss the art of fellatio...to choke or not to choke? Put the kids to bed and come break it down with us. Are there health benefits to swallowing? Can it decrease the amount of anger in the black community? What man doesn't appreciate the ordeal of having his partner swallow his full load of self-esteem? Why are some women disgusted beyond belief at such an act? Is this why brothers go shopping for Becky? Call in and share your thoughts as we touch on deep throat issues in the bedroom...uncensored...
Comrades, Lovers, Friends and Kin;

This is movie is my little cousin's favorite movie and I understand her attraction to the "film noir" of that era, the '80's.
