Attack of the Bag Monster with Andy Keller

    in Environment

This installment of The Forbidden Fruit will discuss the world problem of single use plastics with Bag Monster Andy Keller.

In 2004, Andy Keller, now ChicoBag president, took a trip to his local landfill after spending the day landscaping his backyard. He was horrified by what he saw. Single-use bags were visually the dominant article at the landfill that day, blanketing the landscape in a thin mix of white and beige plastic. On his way home he began to notice plastic bags everywhere, caught in trees and on fence posts, half drowned in gutter puddles and blowing in the streets like urban tumbleweeds.

That day Andy vowed to stop using single-use bags. Inspired, Andy dropped a few bucks on a second hand sewing machine and began sewing what would ultimately become the first ChicoBag® brand reusable bag.

We won't to shed as much light on this cause as possible. We're talking plastics here on The Fruit today. Join us!

PWTR | WWE RAW 6/1/15 Review

    in Wrestling

Pro Wrestling Talk Radio (also known as PWTR) is an internet radio podcast founded in March, 2009. The format of PWTR is a panel of wrestling fans discussing the hottest topics in the world of wrestling in an entertaining (and sometimes controversial) fashion.

In addition to an in-depth roundtable discussion, other segments include taking calls and questions from listeners, and interviews with wrestling personalities (including such headline-making interviews with Joey Ryan, Tough Enough winner Andy Levine, former WWE Superstar Chris Masters , 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih, and 3x World Champion Diamond Dallas Page).

After a stint on YouTube for the latter-half of 2014, the webcast version was rebranded with PWTR returning to its podcast roots and becoming a separate entity. Following the departures of longtime hosts Jay and Charlie from the hosting panel, PWTR was re-launched in January, 2015. The current PWTR panel consists of Justin Gordon, Duke Maverick, and Manny Johnson.

Sunday Night Small Talk (May 31st 2015)

    in Christianity

Episode 68 Sunday Night Small Talk (May 31st 2015)

Welcome to G220 Radio, I want to thank you for joining the program tonight. Here at G220 Radio we discuss many different topics and issues from a biblical worldview. Our purpose is to equipt, edify, and encourage the saints as we journey together, striving to be more and  more like Jesus Christ! While the purpose of G220 Radio is to build up our brothers and sisters, we wil not shy away from the tough topics and will at times on the show confront errors and false teachings. Our prayer is to point believers to the truth and ultimately challenge the listeners to be like the bereansin searching the scriptures daily to test what we hear by the Word of God.

Trying something new with G220 Radio on Sunday nights, opening up the phone lines and having a few topics out there to talk about. Allowing the listeners to call in and engage in some small talk and have a good time talking about whatever from a biblical worldview.

On this first episode we talked about Bibles for China and how in America we are spoiled with all the bibles we have here. How can we help get Bibles into the hands of those who truly want to have a need them, for those in these countries who desire to read the Word of God.

In another discussion tonight I talk about a recent post by Rapper who happens to be a Christian named Andy Mineo who asked non believers what they thought about open air evangelism. Also had two callers for the first ever Sunday Night Small Talk show.

The Truth Agenda - Unexplained Mysteries & Global Cover-Ups w/Andy Thomas

    in Spirituality

ANDY THOMAS is one of the world’s leading authors and lecturers on unexplained mysteries and global cover-ups. He has written many books, including ‘The Truth Agenda’, just published in a new US edition, ‘Conspiracies’ and the crop circle guide ‘Vital Signs’ (nominated for Kindred Spirit magazine’s Best Book award). Andy lectures in many different countries and he has made numerous radio and television appearances around the world, including programs for the BBC, NBC, The History Channel and The National Geographic Channel, and he regularly writes for Nexus Magazine.

    I'll be asking Andy....

1 – What is Andy’s background in investigating mysteries and cover-ups?
2 - What is ‘The Truth Agenda’ book about?
3 – What are the many different mysteries and conspiracies covered in the book?
4 – Which subjects (these include 9/11, the Moon landings, the New World Order, UFOs, crop circles, pyramids, religious apparitions and other classic areas) are given most prominence, and why?
5 – What solutions does the book offer to some of the current issues of surveillance and control agendas?
6 – What is the collective consciousness process discussed in the book, and what hope can this offer the world?
7 – How should truthseekers respond to many of the big events going on in the world at this moment?
8 – How have the recent global events been used to justify creating even LESS freedom of speech, rather than more, and what is the significance of this?
9 – How can we all balance such things and live positively and with optimism in these times?
10 – How can reading ‘The Truth Agenda’ and other truthseeking books help give context and hope?
