And...I watched today's House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations hearing on EBOLA. Will have my comments on the CDC director's "explanation" for not implementing a travel ban.
Ebola has become the October surprise of this year’s midterm elections, with Democrats and Republicans doing battle over everything from restrictions on travel to the disposal of a victim’s remains, according to The Hill.
The U.S. public is increasingly fearful of the virus following three cases in Texas and news that the fatality rate for infected patients has hit 70 percent in West Africa.
The mounting anxiety has made politicians extra attentive to Ebola, with candidates seizing on the spread of the virus to hammer their opponents.Ebola. Iraq. Congress. The Elections.

Kathy Porter grew up in Endicott, New York, the birthplace of IBM and only a short distance from where one of her favorite TV series creators, Rod Serling, was raised. Kathy's lifelong interest in science fiction ignited when her father, a science teacher, showed her craters on the moon and taught her about the constellations. She grew up watching science fiction movies and TV shows. Ray Bradbury's Martian Chronicles was her first delve into a science fiction novel, and she has been hooked ever since.
"I think I was born telling stories," Kathy explained during a recent interview. "As second to the oldest of seven children, the girls all slept in one bedroom. I loved making up bedtime stories with an eerie edge to frighten my sisters: tales about fairies, leprechauns, and aliens."

http://sacredpearltours.com/ What when contemplated transforms us utterly? The recognition of what we say when we talk to ourselves. The words we speak silently to ourselves, about ourselves and others, contain our source of power to build or destroy our lives. There are no other options. Acknowledgement, acceptance, gratitude—criticisms, judgements, condemnations—they either grow or kill us and our relationships; they enlighten us or drive us into the depths of disconnection and despair. When we decide to open to the clarity of who we really are we give ourselves the gift to discover what lies within those containers. Often those words reflect limiting, illusory and false concepts that we have misidentified as ourselves in effort to stay safe. Within those words are hidden paths that lead us to the buried treasures of who we are. In essence we are Divine Holy Beings. Jacke will talk about the importance of leaving the familiar and making pilgrimage to Holy sites that support our ultimate arrival to the Sacred Mother Pearls.
