Even though they haven't had their debut release yet, you can already tell that the indie-rock group The Fantasy Echoes is too damn fun. From the first notes of their demo "Battle Cry", you're already tapping your toes, bobbing your head, and wanting to sing along with lead singer Austin and the rockin' vocals emanating from his throat.
This week Steven Rouk talks with guitarist and song-writer Ryan to hear the stories behind the infectious tunes and to get the scoop on what the band's plans are for the future.

After graduating from college and abandoning a career in the medical field, Apryl moved to L.A. from Chicago as a member of a girl group called Cellareign, which soon split. As a singer who classifies herself as a mix of R&B and Pop, Apryl sought out her big break for several years, even reaching the final auditions for American Idol, cat Dolls, and Making The Band. She met her boyfriend, Omarion, through their mutual fitness trainer and the two began a relationship as friends. Apryl also occasionally performed as a background singer on his tours.

Greg Jackson: Artist, Songwriter, and Producer, Multi-platinum recordings. Solo Album debuts 2014
Born in Cincinnati Ohio, Greg started performing at the age of four when his uncle and aunts would take him to several school activities with them just so he could perform for their friends. At age fourteen, he joined a Cincinnati based band by the name of "The Soulseekers" (1969) who later changed their name to "400 Years of What" (1972).
After performing locally for years, he later hooked up with members of Parliament Funkadelic (1975) now known as the Original P. then move to Atlanta GA. While writing and rehearsing approximately a year for Original P., he received a called from Bootsy and his brother Catfish Collins (1976) asking him to join a band that they and George Clinton was producing by the name of Roger and the Human Body now known as Zapp since 1980.
Working with the Troutman brothers gave him an opportunity to not only tour the world, but a chance to share his musical ability by writing, producing, co-producing and performing with such artist as Roger Troutman, Shirley Murdock, Bobby Glover, New Horizon, the Human Body, Dick Smith, Sugarfoot of the Ohio Players, Bigg Robb and Dayton. Greg is currently on tour with Zapp and working with Troutman brothers (Lester, Terry and Rufus) who he has become their long time friend.
This is one for the musos. We've got interviews with two very talented, innovative, and remarkably unique acts - jazz/hip-hop crossover BadBadNotGood and the lively symphonic Sultans of String.
BBNG is set to drop Sour Soul, a collaboration with the one-and-only Ghostface Killa of Wu Tang Clan, early in 2015. The band is amidst a string of festival dates, getting young music fans into what's traditionally been a niche genre thanks to a youthful energy and abandonment of genre limitations. (Last time I saw these guys, they had a room of a few hundred moshing - yes, moshing - to jazz music - Andrew)
As for Sultans of String, they've got a string of high-profile shows coming up in late November, including a date at Toronto's pristine Koerner Hall. The group's latest release, Symphony!, is a cool project that involved a number of high-profile Canadian musicians, and we'll see how material from that will translate to the stage for these upcoming shows.
Finally, we'll hear the latest about the National Music Centre in Calgary, including the construction of some state-of-the-art studio spaces.
I love this guy! Steve Kidd is the newest Host of our eWNRadio Network band of Hosts and what he has to offer is extraordinary. www.politicsandmoneyinc.com ~ As the principal of Politics & Money Inc., registered in New York and does business through out the United States, where our agency employees education, submits forms of government entitlements (with or without the 'permission' of big government!), create credit where it is "due" and manifest compliance where compromise, is most undesirable!
With a quick substance check of myself: I was married, with children (that weren't my own), divorced after divorcing, ended up in a court fighting the courts over child support. The courts did not have jurisdiction so, they played a 'foul move' with the grandfathered Common Law Marriage (which, in the State of Illioins, was used last in 1959 by wed's, Mary and Teddy Johnson). I acted fast and went on to 'use' the bond of then (and up until now) Dorothy Brown, Clerk of the Courts (Cook County). Long story short, the ILCS (Illinois Complied Statutes) was where the bond was located (705 ILCS 105/4) and the State, has been paying out a portion of the $5,000,000.00 statutorily bond policy and as much as, $2,600.00 is paid, to this day!
Short and sweet, right? Well, the just of this is you have to become educated about the what can and can not be used, in the interest of the law, principal of agreeing parties and collections of data providing a means of comfort in a uncomfortable dynamic world, we live in!
On this week's episode of America's Most Haunted Radio, we talk with haunted music pioneers Midnight Syndicate.
For almost two decades, Northeast Ohio-native composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka have been known as Midnight Syndicate, creating symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mind's eye.
To many of their fans, they are gothic music pioneers brewing a signature blend of orchestral horror music and movie-style sound effects. To others, they remain the first "haunted house band" that forever changed the Halloween music genre and became a staple of the October holiday season.
After seventeen years, fourteen studio albums, three soundtracks, and a motion picture, for the recently completed 2014 Halloween season, Midnight Syndicate teamed up with the world famous amusement park, Cedar Point, to launch their first live performances. Midnight Syndicate Live! Legacy of Shadows -- a multimedia horror-themed concert blending live music, theatre, and film -- ran weekends at Cedar Point's 18th annual HalloWeekends event.
The multimedia horror music concert was called "top-notch and ambitious," "brilliant and artistically creative," and "a must see" by audiences and press alike. "We couldn't be happier with how the show came together," said Edward Douglas, "The response and entire experience has been amazing."
