On this episode of Carson's Corner, Bob analyzes capitalism using the work of author, Fred Goldstein. After reading Goldstein's Capitalism at a Dead End, Bob has started reading Goldstein's 2008 book, Low-Wage Capitalism. Both books are essential in understanding the problems we face today as brought on by our economic system. Until we connect all of the oppressed in standing up to capitalism, workers will continue to suffer the same fate, stagnant wages, accumlated debt, and all the social ills that accompany a capitalist system.

Patrick Davis, CEO of Davis Brand Capital and co-founder of StandUp Foundation, gave a talk on “Entrepreneurism for Social Change: Making the World Better, One Company at a Time” at Stetson University in February 2015. His presentation was part of Stetson University's Social Justice Lecture Series, which focuses on social justice to explore issues central to the university's mission and values. Read more about Davis and the lecture series in this Stetson Today article.
