Strangely Alright is a 5 piece Power Pop Band from the Seattle that Rockford Rowley from The Weekly Volcano says, “an undeniable emotional appeal. Ringing, triumphant chords and lyrics that allude to conquered tribulations immediately make the music relatable to everyone. Regan Lane's 80’s pop star experience, Ken Schaff''s driving hard rock influences, Preston Darvill's late 90’s heavy hitting grunge love affair, Ray Hayden's keyboard crush on all things prog rock and Sean Van Dommelen's crunchy white boy blues, all collide together creating their unique raw, energetic, sound deep seated with emotion. Lane’s charismatic presence and ability to get asses out of their seats and the underlying lyrical message of hope, empathy, and love live up to the title of the band’s upcoming single, COME ON, a catchy, edgy rock song that's a piece of sugar coated power pop!
Singer Songwriter Regan Lane has had placement and airplay of his heartfelt pop and rock songs on numerous TV shows throughout the US, including A&E's Biography, NBC Sports,VH1's Top Twenty Countdown and Best Week Ever, Anthony Bourdains' No Reservations and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew along with many other cable and network shows. His jubilant pop song 'U Won't Believe' was heard on NBC's "Race across America" and was also the theme song for "Puget Sounds TV", a Northwest TV show featuring local and national indie artists. "The Ocean Makes Her Cry'"was recently played on The Discovery Channels' "Strictly Sex With Dr. Drew: Am I Normal?" and his pop gem 'Junkie' was heard on Johnny Knoxville's MTV special. http://www.strangelyalright.com/welcome-to-strangely-alright

'Huggy Bear' Antonio Fargas Named Brand Ambassador for NBC's COZI TV
by THR Staff 4/20/2015 9:10am PDT
Antonio Fargas, best known as "Huggy Bear" from Starsky & Hutch, has signed on as the first brand ambassador for NBC's COZI TV.
In this role, he'll star in exclusive musical promos for the network, which airs iconic series including Starsky & Hutch as well as Magnum, P.I., Charlie's Angels, The Bionic Woman, Six Million Dollar Man and Lone Ranger, plus classic movies.
Fargaas kicked off his relationship with COZI TV on Monday, with the premiere of the first of three network identity spots featuring Fargas and his swing band, The New Jump Blues (watch it below). The musical promos feature soundtracks created exclusively for COZI TV. The other two promos will premiere later in the year.
Even though the NBA conference finals aren't technically over, we will go ahead and preview the 2015 NBA Finals expected matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. There are many story lines surrounding this expected series including the matchup of the people's MVP in Steph Curry vs the villain everyone loves to root against in Lebron James. We will even examine the uncelebrated cities that will be hosting these games in Cleveland and Oakland and help you understand why each city needs this championship desperately plus much, much more. The new segment called Diehard Corona Crew will discuss how to raise the profile of CONCACAF soccer worldwide. We will have the Diehard Lakers Central and Diehard Dodgers Corner segments with our special panel discussing Kobe Bryant and his apparent impending retirement along with the Dodgers' massive struggles against the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park so far this season. We will also react to Ray Rice being reinstated into the NFL and why that may be more problematic for the former all-pro running back than he initially realizes. This is must-hear radio at its best and ready to blow YOU away!!!

But if Hagar’s correct, Anthony may eventually return to his old job in Van Halen, essentially reuniting the group’s original lineup for the first time since 1985. (Although if you want to get technical, the quartet recorded two new songs for 1996’s ‘Best Of – Volume 1’ compilation together.) Guitarist Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang has filled the bassist role for the band since Anthony’s departure.
“My guess is, if you want me to make one prediction, I think that Michael Anthony will be back in that band because they really need to do that. If they’re going to serve the fans and ever do what the fans really want right now, if it’s going to be Dave, then it’s gotta be Mike. too. It’s gotta be the original band, and that’s the way it should be. Nothing against Wolfie — I love the guy; he was a sweet kid, grew up, I saw him when he was born for God’s sake — but they need to do that and my prediction is they will.”
Terry Burrus performs a wide variety of music from the grooves of house and techno to traditional jazz to classical to R&B Soul genres. Terry Burrus can take it even further with hard groove and dance tracks that's being featured on his forthcoming album. Burrus strives to create musical projects that can be described as tasteful and enjoyable. But it was not always the case for the pianist in the beginning. Alot of years, training and learning made him a visionary. Studying Beethoven, Dvorak, Grieg, Mozart, Chopin, he is also deeply rooted in Soul, Jazz, Gospel, and dwells deep in Electronica. Making home between Europe and the United States, his musical journey becomes more exciting and challenging when working with new and exciting people in different genres. The musical versatility is due to the many artists and recordings Terry has worked on as well as his extensive worldwide travels and experiences for years. The native New Yorker learned the piano at age five and became a church organist at Washington Temple in Brooklyn, New York by the time he was seven growing up in that church alongside singers, James" D Train" Williams, Ronnie Dyson and the Reverend Al Sharpton. Terry Burrus studied with Sticks Evans his musical mentor teacher in Junior High School and it was there where Terry put together his Junior High School band as a guitarist which he got quite proficient on and also as a keyboardist. The band would play locally in New York including the prestigious Lincoln Center Performing Arts Center, performing jazz, soul,r&b and Broadway classics. He attended the La Guardia School of Music And Art in New York City diving further into jazz and formal studies and absorbing the concepts of arrangement and counterpoint, he excelled so fast as a musician that by the time he was sixteen he was touing with Jean Carne, Lenny White, Michael Urbaniak, Tom Browne, Melba Moore and others...
