The benefits of MBE Certification really boil down to one word: access. Certification gives MBEs exclusive access to top corporate purchasing agents, premium networking events, searchable supplier databases, affordable consulting services, technology programs, and vital introductions to nationally known corporations.
But certification can come with challenges that include battling the impression that certification programs give these companies a handout. On this episode of The QTI Power Hour, Hosts Jason Lofton and Steve Kucharski seperate the facts from the fiction.

Imagine being in middle school, a 12 year old aspiring writer. You become brave and show your Librarian your very first full manuscript. The reaction you receive is less than supportive. Shandy Kurth was that 12 year old. I for one am thankful that she did not let this occurance stop her dreams from happening. We will touch base on how she overcame that hurdle and talk about her journey to publishing five books to date! We will discuss how this author finds time to be out in the work force, a wife, a mother and then finds the time to be an author as well.

We're seeing Islam take over the world, or at least the press would have us believe that. However, those who live around Muslims and/or Muslim communities know that this is more of a fact than a fiction. Tonight, Jim and I will talk about how to effectively thwart the advances of Islam. We can see clear examples in Scripture how Yahweh overcomes enemies of Israel, and our enemies (hopefully they're the same) and how HE bring about peace because He is the only way to peace and victory. Come and listen in at 6PM Pacific and 9PM Eastern as we explore this subject.

Jennifer Brozek and Byran Thomas Schmidt have edited an anthology for Baen Books that highlights stories that contain Faith and Magic.
"Swords and Shields. Faith and Magic.
Grab yours and get ready, for the enemy is on the move.
High fantasy and mighty conflicts go hand-in-hand. In great wars, armies rise to fight evil hordes and heroes struggle to push beyond their imperfections and save the day. These stories include more than just epic landscapes and characters...but also epic battles.
Imagine a doctor struggling to identify the spy who has infiltrated his company's ranks and poisoned his colleagues or a boy suspected of murder by a king yet protected by a princess as he helps her father against his own people. Imagine a butcher discovering that he's called to lead an uprising, or a First Born knowing that she must betray her own in order to save humanity.
The possibilities are endless, but at the heart they have this in common: soldiers--ordinary and otherwise-struggling against extraordinary odds to survive the day. They must withstand dark magic, dodge enemy blades, and defy the odds to survive SHATTERED SHIELDS."
