Members of a Better World is a group of State-Sanctioned Community Development advocates committed to enabling communities in need toward greater self-sustenance. We are focused on the areas of Training and Employment Services, Food Cooperatives, Social Care for Single Parents, the Elderly, Disabled Children support, and Youth Mentoring. These services are essential for equipping communities for increasing self sufficiency and an improved quality of life. MBW services are geared toward reconstituting and rebuilding the communities in the city of Arad, Israel where they are headquartered, as well as throughout the surrounding Negev (Southern) region. The organization was built by 40 families in Arad who examined, identified, and addressed core needs impacting financial and social independence within that community. After several years of research activities, our official work started in June, 2013, with our model focused on independently generating funds to support projects promoting self-sufficiency.

Religion has been a source of both solace and suffering for many lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans. For while most LGBT Americans have been raised in an organized religion — and many continue to cherish their faith community — too many have been forced to leave those communities behind because of condemnation of LGBT people.
And yet in recent years, a growing number of organized religious groups in the United States have issued statements officially welcoming LGBT people as members. Many religious organizations also have taken supportive stands on the issues that affect LGBT people in America, such as the fight for freedom from discrimination, the solemnizing of same-sex marriage and the ordination of openly LGBT clergy.

Q & A Night - You'll suggest the themes for tonight's show, which will involve any topic from the world of public safety, violence prevention, and child abuse and trauma. Special co-host Dr. Debra Warner, Psy.D., a Los Angeles based Forensic Psychologist will lead the discussion, joined tonight by Michelle Bless, long time NAASCA family member and author of the book "Out of the Darkness." Among other things, she'll talk about her experiences working with prison ministries and with street people in her hometown, Cincinnati, Ohio (see her YouTube video). ~~ NAASCA is pleased that Dr. Debra will be our regular special co-host on Tuesday night question-and-answer style community participation shows. An educator and violence prevention expert, Dr. Warner will be joined each week by a different special guest whose background will provide a jumping off point for the evening's Q&A. SCAN host and NAASCA founder Bill Murray will help field questions and lead a variety of topic discussions suggested by our call-in participants. Debra's understanding of the issues of child abuse and trauma spring not only from a professional perspective, but also from a personal one. Multiple members of her own family have been victims of predators. She'll share how she's participated in their struggle with surviving and thriving. ~~ Everyone's invited to engage on tonight's show .. on the phone or in SCAN's ever-present community chat room. ~~ Please visit our website: www.NAASCA.org

As the gospel spreads and people respond to it, those in a particular area start a local church when they agree to work together as one. Whereas the church universal began in Jerusalem on Pentecost, local churches have begun at different places and different times. When one wishes to become an accepted member of the local church, they must join themselves to that church. Whereas one is added by The Lord himself to the universal church, we can seek to join a local congregation ( if its members are willing to accept us)

Sally Stubbs of sally-stubbs.com. "My work is my passion, setting up my private hypnoherapy & psychotherapy practice since qualifying in 1982 and perpetually continuing my education ever since in my specialised field.
As a consultant to the Cumbria Juvenile Justice Team, assisting 14 to 17 year olds to stop offending, the team members, with whom I worked closely, claimed they had never met a 'bad' child, only children who were 'lost'.
Since then I have been specifically writing and compiling my Therapeutic Courses: in the style of and based on the amazing and successful work of Dr Milton Erickson."
