Americas Most Haunted Interviews Devin Marble

    in Paranormal

A key member of Syfy's Fact or Faked AND Haunted Highway teams, charismatic tech wiz Devin Marble has been fascinated with technology ever since he was a child, always having a natural understanding of "how the cogs work."
His curiosity and tenacity as a youngster led him to many instances of dismembering the household electronics. To save the house, his mother put him in front of a computer and his father taught him to build.
As he grew older, his fascination with how things worked led him into construction, prop-building, and videography.
Now, as a self-made producer with over a decade of experience in filmmaking and special FX, he has become highly proficient at deciphering video, photographic, and practical paranormal evidence.
Legendary blogger/journalist Eric Olsen (Blogcritics, Technorati, The Morton Report) and paranormal investigator and famed "Haunted Housewife" Theresa Argie have paired for upcoming blockbuster book and multimedia brand uncovering the truth behind America's most iconic paranormal hotspots. Americas Most Haunted Interviews Amy Bruni of GHOST HUNTERS

    in Paranormal

As Syfy's epically successful Ghost Hunters series returns Sept 5 at 9/8c for its Season 8 midseason premiere, seismic changes are afoot, namely co-founder Grant Wilson has left the show.
Once the engenue, Amy Bruni now finds herself a veteran mainstay and the only woman on the TAPS team. Amy is a good example of what happens when a hobby turns into a passion, which in turn becomes a way of life.
Like many paranormal invetigators Amy grew up in a haunted house, but unlike most in that situation, her family embraced it. Bruni's father was an amateur paranormal investigator and routinely he and Amy investigated haunted sites. From a young age she read and absorbed everything paranormal related she could, and as she grew to adulthood that didn't change.
Amy began investigating with a paranormal team in Sacramento, California. As soon as she stepped foot in the field professionally, her pursuits took off.
Her lifetime of supernatural knowledge drew the attention of Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson of The Atlantic Paranormal Society. As a TAPS team member, Amy’s quest to spread knowledge of the paranormal nationwide has led her to organizing paranormal conferences.
She also started the company, Beyond Reality Events with Hawes and Wilson. More recently, Bruni has been using her connections in the field to conduct important research on the nature of group dynamics in the paranormal and she's begun lecturing on ghosts and the supernatural.

    Americas Most Haunted Interviews Ryder

    in Paranormal

Ryder - Erin Ryder - has bounded her way to co-starring status on Syfy's globetrotting paranormal investigation show Destination Truth, and NatGeo's zippy new Chasing UFOs.
But she is far from just another pretty face and lean bod. Lara Croft. Amelia Earhart. Dana Scully. Whether in fiction or non-fiction, few females are as tough-as-nails as Erin Ryder.
Ryder's unique perspective and determination have taken her around the globe to research claims of the strange and mysterious, all while traversing some of the deadliest environments on earth.
Her impressive resume includes rafting the world's largest waterfall, rappelling the Great Wall of China, and scaling glaciers in Antarctica, while only occasionally sustaining injuries!
Ryder considers herself a 'skeliever,' as she falls somewhere between a skeptic and a believer. Deep down she wants to be convinced, but will need to see the hard evidence first.
As a tech-minded investigator, if its data collecting that you're looking for, she's got the gear for that. Ryder 'geeks out' over thermal cameras and night vision scopes and can't wait to use the latest technology to investigate new and old UFO cases alike.

Ben Hansen Returns to AMH Radio

    in Paranormal

Ben Hansen is a man of many hats. The Utah native has never been one to sit still. Music, athletics, camping and the like were a huge part of his upbringing. Ben was encouraged to try new things and explore his many interests. Ben has a passion for discovery, and that passion turned into a career, several careers actually.

After college he worked for the Utah County Sex Crimes Task Force. That led to a stint as an FBI special agent where he excelled in formal investigation techniques. Six years in the agency gave Ben a unique perspective on the world and it’s many fascinations. His unquenchable thirst for discovery took hold. In a very “X-Files” type fashion, he decided to branch out.

The opportunity arose for Ben to develop and star in a reality television program where he could utilize his many skills. That opportunity became Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Ben led the team in amazing hands-on investigations using all manner of scientific and technological methods, exposing hoaxes and shedding light on many popular myths and some of the strangest phenomenon ever captured on video.

Since the wildly popular Syfy show unceremoniously ended, fans have scrambled to find something comparable to take its place. Like that could ever happen!  But luckily, its charming star Ben Hansen is still very much in the limelight.

Free to pursue other avenues of interest, Hansen has continued work in the entertainment field by starting his own company, Hypocenter Productions. Together with his night vision company NV Ops, Ben is developing projects dealing with one of his other interests, UFO's.

What else has Ben been up to? We'll find out on Tuesday June 3rd on America's Most Haunted Radio!

AMH Talks Wolf Creek 2 with John Jarratt

    in Paranormal

When it comes to movie villains, Australia has a top contender: John Jarratt. Jarratt made a name for himself in the 2005 horror film Wolf Creek. Based (loosely) on actual events, Wolf Creek struck a chord with Aussies and movie goers all over the world.

Jarratt's character, Mick Taylor, was inspired by Ivan Milat who committed a series of grisly killings that came to be known as "The Backpack Murders."

Now Jarratt reprises his role in the sequel, Wolf Creek 2. It is slotted for an American release on May 16th.

In the new film we find a young German couple backpacking in the wilds of the Australian Outback. Their vacation in paradise is cut short when the come across psychopathic pig-shooter Mick Taylor.

In a thrilling game of cat and mouse, Taylor relentlessly stalks his prey through the desolate barren Outback. Their struggle for survival seems utterly hopeless. When an unsuspecting motorist attempts to help one of Taylor's victims, he too becomes part of the gruesome game.

It's killer vs captive in a battle of brutality and wits in one of the most imaginative torture scenes ever filmed.

The film has moments of pure natural beauty interspersed with sheer brutality. And oh, that laugh, that psychotic unmistakable laugh!

John Jarratt joins the Haunted Housewife for what is sure to be an electrifying interview on May 13th at 10pmE.

AMHRadio Steps Into Secret Dimensions of the Mind's Eye with Midnight Syndicate

    in Paranormal

On this week's episode of America's Most Haunted Radio, we talk with haunted music pioneers Midnight Syndicate.

For almost two decades, Northeast Ohio-native composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka have been known as Midnight Syndicate, creating symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mind's eye.

To many of their fans, they are gothic music pioneers brewing a signature blend of orchestral horror music and movie-style sound effects. To others, they remain the first "haunted house band" that forever changed the Halloween music genre and became a staple of the October holiday season.

After seventeen years, fourteen studio albums, three soundtracks, and a motion picture, for the recently completed 2014 Halloween season, Midnight Syndicate teamed up with the world famous amusement park, Cedar Point, to launch their first live performances. Midnight Syndicate Live! Legacy of Shadows -- a multimedia horror-themed concert blending live music, theatre, and film -- ran weekends at Cedar Point's 18th annual HalloWeekends event.

The multimedia horror music concert was called "top-notch and ambitious," "brilliant and artistically creative," and "a must see" by audiences and press alike. "We couldn't be happier with how the show came together," said Edward Douglas, "The response and entire experience has been amazing."
