For, behold, tha day cometh, that shall burn as an oven, and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of host, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2: But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

    in Lifestyle

Danielle Myers on Mentoring Monday presented by 4wordwomen and hosted by author Rick Tocquigny.

After 12 years of working for Covidien in global operations with responsibility for their capital asset funding, real estate and operations departmental financials.  It was a fantastic learning experience where I was able to build my career and also meet many great mentors.  After leaving Covidien I decided to try out consulting on my own and have been working primarily with another medical device company as well as a few others for the past 18 months.  I have been able to continue developing my leadership skills while also being able to have a different view into the organization.  I credit my mentors with giving me the support and push to try this out on my o

I have remained in contact with my mentees after the formal session and have had the opportunity to be a trusted adviser for them, getting to know all aspects of who they are, their goals and dreams and being someone they can count on when they need a shoulder to lean on or give them a push to help them achieve more.

Three of my mentees truly stand out:

A jewelry designer from TX who graduated college early and for the past 5 months has been focusing on her jewelry company.
A woman who received her PHD in Kinesiology and is working as a post grad fellow at Harvard studying how your brain impacts addictive behavior.
A commercial real estate tenant representative who has a drive to support entrepreneurs

Dr. Robert L. Weber: The Spirituality of Age

    in Spirituality

Robert L. Weber, Ph.D., the co-author of the new book The Spirituality of Age: A Seeker's Guide to Growing Older, addresses ways to embrace the shadow side of aging, while opening up to spiritual growth.  Co-authored with Carol Orsborn, Ph.D., The Spirituality of Age insightfully explores meaningful personal reflections and 25 key questions, revealing that true growth arises through directly engaging with the fears and challenges aging brings our way.  When we open up to the possibilities of feeling energized as we age, we can expand more freely into our authentic selves and discover the spiritual opportunities of growing older.

Robert (Bob) is a former Jesuit and an assistant professor of psychology, part-time, at Harvard Medical School. He also serves as a faculty member of Massachusetts General Hospital's Department of Psychiatry.  He is the 2014 recipient of the American Society on Aging’s FORSA Award (Forum on Religion, Spirituality and Aging) recognizing his leadership, locally and nationally, in exploring the role of spirituality and religion in the aging services field.  Bob has earned many honors and has held several prominent leadership roles throughout his academic and professional career.  He has a private psychological practice in Cambridge, MA.

T.D. Jakes - Pope Jakes Helping Birth Daughter Harlot Churches In The US! (233)

    in Christianity

Satan's end-time global religious agenda is now coming into clear focus.  The Rome-based church of Revelation 17 called "The Mother of Harlots" is rapidly giving birth to many daughter churches in the United States and around the world.  The apostate leaders of these "Harlot Daughter Churches" dress just like the clerics of Rome and boast of their ministerial legitimacy by also claiming apostolic succession.  Tune in as Wolf Tracker explains Pope Jakes' role in transforming the African-American Church into a monolithic Harlot Daughter Church.  In addition, Wolf Tracker University has made the decision to put Paula White's First Fruits Offering Teaching on trial since she has repeatedly refused to debate Dr. Elisha Coles.  This historic mock trial will start Friday January 1st 2016 and end Sunday January 31st.  E-mail us at wolftracker14@gmail.com if you desire to follow "The Trial of the Year" and receive the WORKBOOK containing ALL OF THE DATED OUTLINES that will cover the proceedings in this 31 day mock trial.  There is no cost for WORKBOOKS.  YES, WORKBOOKS are yours FREE OF CHARGE!

    Staring At The Sun!

    in Lifestyle

What do you do to improve your life?  Do you know some people stare at the sun to gain advantages in life?  Do you know many of our religions were formed because of the sun and its value to our lives?  Do you really care about sun worshipping or do you mostly care about how your life can be better?
Do you have anything or anyone you follow with a belief that your life is better because you have that belief?  Why do we worship anyone or anything?  What would life look like if we each accepted that a creator exists, that we are creators, and we let each of us grow up as value creators?  How would that belief, religion, fit your life style?

When you were little did you dream of growing up and being more than you were accepted as as the child within the family, the society, the religion you were part of?  Did you dream of being as powerful as the sun that shone in your eyes?  Did you dream of escaping this planet to a place you were accepted?  Well, stare at the sun! (a metaphor for being more)

    Show Overview:

An interview with MR. JEFFREY L PAGE

NCEBC wants to welcome the full village to question, understand, and ask questions, about governance, educational policy, finances,  resources, and  the basic democratic principles of equity, fairness, and justice. It is important (if not, vital) that we have this conversation to continue to dispel the myth that black children are incapable of achieving high test scores,  therefore public schools are incapable of providing quality education.

"We believe in accountability. We believe that data drives decision-making. We believe in research-based practices. These principles have been used for generations by high performing schools, principals and Superintendents; especially those working and succeeding in urban communities were poverty and race are the dominant elements. This conversation is about the politics, power, economics, and restructuring of a public school system into a charter school system."

Diana Daniels, Executive Director, National Council on Educating Black Children

Just Breathe... and give thanks for the journey and love.

    in Women

    Our intentions are pure...

Just Breathe is a retreat for your soul.

An invitation to pause on purpose and give thanks for the journey.

Welcome Beth O'Connor...a playful, radiant voice of grace.

This month we have intentionally engaged in a practice of gratitude. Today we will experience a guided meditation to honor our relationship with self, spirit and the universe.  Slowing down we bring awareness to the breath as a doorway into peace. Beth will join Simply Grace founders Diahana Barnes and Nancy Feth in the studio and lead a guided meditation, inviting us to slow down, savor and appreciate this journey of life.

This is a gentle reminder to slow down and pause...be still for a moment. Connect to your spirit for guidance, light and love.  Through a sacred space of divine interruptions we nurture our soul, clear our mind, and nourish our body... honoring our self-care needs and renewing our spirit.  This show features a beautiful centering experience offered to gently create awareness and connection to the abundant grace present in our lives.  In this beautiful space of stillness and guided meditation, we honor ouselves and the movement of grace.

Us against them, blood on the hands of America!

    in Entertainment

There seems to be a never-ending surge of violence in America. Some of it is coming from those serving within our police force. While we know that within every community there are those that take what they do to heart and have care and concern for what they do, there are also those that misuse their authority. When that misuse leads to death and destruction, as a community we must have a voice. Join us this Monday November 30 and share your views 9 AM EST.
