We'll discuss the many Amazonian women, hear about their stories, discover where they really lived and what their lives were like. It might surprise you! Be sure to tune in! Prof. Adrienne Mayor is an independent folklorist/historian of science who investigates natural knowledge contained in pre-scientific myths and oral traditions. She's also the author of two books on pre-Darwinian fossil traditions in classical antiquity and in Native America. Titles of her books not on the Amazons include Poison King: the life and Legend of Mithradates the Great, Rome's Deadliest Encmy, Fossil Legends of the First Americans, and the First Fossil Hunters: Paleontology in Greek and Roman Times.

Every one of Black African Women in America have been touched by the murder of our people in this country. We come from a long line of warriors men as well as women, in our history of African Civilization we find records of this from Pharaoh Hatshepsut her name means "Foremost of Noble Ladies", and on her accession as pharaoh she took the throne name "Ma´atkare" ("truth is the soul of Ra).Born in the 15th century BC, Hatshepsut, daughter of Tuthmose I and Aahmes, both of royal lineage, was the favorite of their three children. When her two brothers died, she was in the unique position to gain the throne upon the death of her father. I would like to see an entire movement of BLACK AFRICAN WOMEN like these great women. Each Revoluton that involved BLACK AFRICAN WOMEN, came to an abrupt very bad end for White Opperssors. The Amazons of Abomey called Dahomey caused the end of the slave trade in Oyo and the Gold Coast of Africa. "The use of Female troops was due, at least in part, to an acute shortage of man power. With its total population of less than 200, 000, Abomey often bested enemies with five or ten times as many people. Abomey prospered for a century and a half. When the state Union was formed, it was subject to the king of Oyo, but Oyo's power over Abomey weakened progressively. In 1726, and again in 1728, 1729, and 1730, the cavalry of Oyo swept into Dahomey, defeated the troops of the Fon, and spread devastation. After each invasion, however, the Fon, recuperated rapidly and they never lost control of their costal vassal states."
"For every individual his or her own cultural identity is a function of that of his or her people. Consequently, one must define the cultural identity of a people. This means, to a great extent, one must analyze the components of collective personality." CHEIKH ANTA DIOP
This week we will start the study of the Amazon Warriors of Dahomey. The account of the Warrior Women of Oyo by the British Vampire Sir Richard Burton in 1863. In order for us to analyze why we are in this state of Slavery as captives of Africa we must examine the STATES OF THE WEST AFRICAN FORESTS from which we came. There are many who condemn the Black African American Woman for her incredible ability and strength. We are abused by the very seed we have sown, the Black African American male. Some of our sisters are not our sisters because they have no idea how history records us. The Willy Lynch Syndrome was specifically developed to conquer the African Woman and make her believe that she was helpless. Why? Because we are the most formidable enemy of the White Devil and his slaves who follow his lead and continue to abuse us. Tonight we will study exactly what happened before the slave trade in the West African Forests where we were captured and sold. “The women’s military corps was fully functioning unit. It’s women often termed Amazons by visiting Europeans- fought along side the corps of male soldiers in both offensive and defensive actions. The Asian Model of Production, in the fall of the Chinese revolution of An Lu-Shan during the T’ang period in the 9th century when the men were all slaughtered by the emperor and the women sold into slavery, we tried to prevent this from happening to us. Although our destines are extricably tied together African women and African men have lost the unity of struggle and fight together. Instead of us uniting to fight a common enemy today we fight each other, because our men have been trained to hate and mistrust us. We as a people must find out why this is happening and change it, through the study of our past victory against the White Devils. This week “THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN CIVILIZATION” by E. Jefferson Murphy.

(9) Don’t oppose or hinder the church “These six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that are swift in running to evil, a false witness who speaks lies, and one who sows discord among brethren” (Prov. 6:16-19).
(12) Don’t get caught up in the offenses of others “Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend” (Psa. 15:1-3).
For the better part of 200 years, thousands of female soldiers fought and died to expand the borders of their West African kingdom. Even their conquerors, the French, acknowledged their "prodigious bravery." According to Greek accounts, the earliest Amazons came from Libya (then a name for most of North Africa). They wore red leather and carried crescent-shaped shields. It was these Libyan Amazons, they said, who later founded cities and temples in the Aegean and Anatolia. At a much later period, the Amazons of Dahomey were crack all-female troops, all female, who also served as royal bodyguards. They were also priestesses and wore crescent moon crowns. The Hausa had a number of warrior queens, notably Amina of Zau Zau. A woman named Bazao-Turunku led warriors and founded a town south of Zaria. Nupe women warriors called Isadshi-Koseshi fought as fiercely as the men, opposing invasions of the Fulbe conquerers who raided the Nupe for cattles and slaves, especially women. We are going to pay respect to the woman warriors and explain why and who were the original ride or die chicks.
