SORT BY Relevancy
Tune into the Ron and Don Show as we take listeners on a historic step-by-step lay out of the hustle for public safety money and how, by the evidence of the latest murders, it has not worked in Minneapolis. From July 25 to July 26 (24 hours), two people died from gunshots, many more injured. Ron and Don will discuss how to end this tragic violence, but also point fingers at the organizations that have sold out the black community in favor of a working friendship that is more dysfunctional then a duck with rabbit ears. As always, the phone lines will be open.
The National Latin@ Network and WomensLaw, a project of NNEDV, are excited to announce a partnership for a series of Blog Talk Radios on general questions relevant to domestic violence and sexual assault law in the Latin@ communities. The first of this series will take place on July 29, 2015. In preparation for this first segment and future segments, we would like to invite our community to submit any questions pertaining to domestic violence and sexual assault laws, specifically as these issues affect Latin@ survivors. You may submit your questions by filling out this form. While we cannot provide legal advice, as each case is unique, we hope to provide some useful legal information.
The Total Tutor Neil Haley, Jason The Public School Guy, and Jarrett will discuss this topic

Suicide is a serious public health problem that takes an enormous toll on families, friends, classmates, co-workers, and communities, as well as on our military personnel and veterans.
Uncovering the reason for an individual suicide death is complex and challenging. What we know from research is that 90% of people who die by suicide have a potentially treatable mental disorder at the time of their death—a disorder that often has gone unrecognized and untreated.
Join us for a very frank conversation about Suicide. Host Celeste S. Duckworth, with featured guests, LeAnn Hull, Founder/CEO of Andy Hull's Foundation, Brett A. Scudder, President/Chairman at The Suicide Prevention Institute, Roy Hobbs, News Anchor at WRDE News, Tisa Key, Actor/Writer/Filmmaker, and Jacqui Letran, CEO of Teen Confidence Academy, will share their experiences, what they have learned, breaking myths, and how they are advocating to prevent this tragic event.

Married couples often seek to correct each other, not realizing what they say and do may be hurtful. We'll examine three cases today: in the first one, a husband is concerned about his wife's obesity, and his intention is to remind her to stick to a diet, but his constant, public reminders about her weight only makes her feel humiliated. In the second case, the wife, a college professor, keeps correcting her husband's grammar. He is head of a community organization a often is asked to speak, but sometimes mispronounces words. She says she's trying to help him. He says she's arrogant and condescending.
