Clint Howard, actor, has a career spanning over fifty years, and over two hundred film and TV shows. He has spent his entire life entertaining us in a variety of interesting and unique roles. From childhood roles in The Andy Griffith Show and Star Trek to of course, the hit TV Show Gentle Ben, Clint was a well recognized personality by the time he was ten.Making the transition from juvenile to adult actor was no problem for Clint. Cult classic Rock N Roll High School and horror genre Evilspeak showed as an adult he could be versatile and affective. Whether Clint works in comedy classics like Waterboy, the Austin Powers film series or a hilarious episode of Seinfeld, he comfortably slides into dramatic roles such as Apollo 13, Frost/Nixon and Alabama Moon. Recently, Clint can be seen in the campy, B Horror title, Bloodrayne Third Reich and Rob Zombie's Lords of Salem. He's also put on the producing hat, teaming with long time colleague Gavin Grazer on an indie comedy. Born and raised in Burbank, California, Clint has always balanced his professional career with a 'hometown' oriented life. He continues to live with his wife Melanie in Burbank and stay active in the community. Is my desire to be perfect preventing me from moving forward in my life? Perfectionism when in control allows you to be at the top of your game by providing that razor shape edge that makes you stand above the rest. Perfectionism when out of control is a subterfuge for fear of failure. It’s a self imposed limiting belief. It’s easier to set your bar to an unattainable level, that way you never have to face what people may or may not have to say about you and or your work. You work very hard at the thing you are producing, but never ever produce a finished product. You see, it’s always in the making, because it can always be better. Are you using your perfectionism as a smoke screen to hide behind, or to put you at the top of your game?
Join me Dr. Wendy Dearborne choice expert and Olivia Lashley expression coach and artist as we look at what limiting beliefs and perfectionism.
Kevin Carroll: ‘A ball saved my life.’ Kevin has been an agent of change around the globe for decades but it was the power of play, the power of sport that served as his Katalyst.
From the street of Philadephia to the Air Force, in the locker room of the 76ers to the board room of Nike, Kevin has been impacting others. His story revolves around a red rubber ball and how on a playground, alone, his life was saved by the power of play.
You’ll be challenged to ask yourself if you’re chasing your dreams, you’ll be inspired to seek your Red Rubber Ball and you might even scare yourself. But like Kevin says, ‘If it doesn’t scare you, it isn’t big enough.’
FROM COUCH TO KILIMANJARO
Join me as I interview Chelsea Hudson. Be inspired by a woman who changed her life in one year, having gone from being an out-of-shape couch potato suffering from depression, to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to its summit. She accomplished this just last month with a group of women setting out to raise awareness of sexual violence suffered by women in countries facing the conflict of war.
Check out the organization she climbed for, One Million Thumbprints at onemillionthumbprints.org
