Gene Krupa and His Orchestra ‎– A Tender Word Will Mend It All / Along the Navajo Trail

A: “A Tender Word Will Mend It All “

Vocals [Chorus] for both songs – Buddy Stewart

    Written By – Fisher, Roberts

The first drummer to be a superstar, Gene Krupa may not have been the most advanced drummer of the 1930s but he was in some ways the most significant. Prior to Krupa, drum solos were a real rarity and the drums were thought of as a merely supportive instrument. With his good looks and colorful playing He became a matinee idol and changed the image of drummers forever.

    B:  “Along the Navajo Trail”

"Along the Navajo Trail" is a country / pop song, written by Dick Charles Larry Markes and Edgar De Lange in 1945. It was the title song of the 1945 Roy Rogers film “Along the Navajo trail.”
