Connie is the Director of Annual Giving and Volunteer Resources in the Foundation at All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine. She is responsible for annual giving programs and also oversees in-hospital and community volunteers. She has been with the hospital since July 2013.
Before joining All Children's, Connie worked at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. She continued her pediatric healthcare fundraising career by serving as Director of Children's Miracle Network/Annual Fund at Children's Hospital of Georgia and then as Major Gift Officer for Georgia Regents Medical Center and Children's Hospital.
Connie lives with her husband and two kids in St. Petersburg, FL and loves being just minutes from beautiful beaches.

Join us as our host, Carol McDaniel, sits down with All Children's heart surgeon, Jeffrey P. Jacobs, M.D., FACS, FACC, FCCP.
Dr. Jacobs is director of the Andrews/Daicoff Cardiovascular Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute and professor of Cardiac Surgery in the Division of Cardiac Surgery of the Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University. He is also surgical director of the Heart Transplantation Program and director of the Extracorporeal Life Support Program at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute. Dr. Jacobs has been a cardiothoracic surgeon at All Children’s Hospital since 1998.
Recently, Dr. Jacobs led a team of 60 physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals from All Children's Hospital and healthcare organizations throughout the United States and the world to deliver life-saving care in the Caribbean. Under Jacobs' leadership, the team has operated on more than 90 children since the first trip in 2006.

Join us as our host, Carol McDaniel, sits down with guest Jonathan M. Ellen, M.D., president and vice dean of All Children's Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine. Dr. Ellen is leading the transformation of All Children's from a regional pediatric referral center to an academic children's hospital and national leader in research, teaching and patient care.
Under his visionary leadership, All Children’s Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine launched an innovative new pediatric residency program and new fellowships, established the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Heart Institute and expanded programs dedicated to patient safety and quality. He forged collaborations among physicians at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg and the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, leading to new clinical and translational research spanning both campuses.
Dr. Ellen joined the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1999. He was named vice dean for All Children’s Hospital in 2011 and president of All Children’s Hospital in 2012.
Dr. Ellen lives in St. Petersburg, FL and enjoys all that the Sunshine State has to offer. He and his wife have a son and daughter.

Karen is the injury prevention coordinator for Florida Suncoast SAFE KIDS Coalition led by All Children's Hospital Johns Hopkins Medicine. She has been with All Children’s since February 2015.
Before joining All Children’s, Karen worked as a child passenger safety technician and instructor. She currently teaches 10 car seat classes per month at All Children’s main campus and outpatient locations. From drowning prevention and pedestrian safety to installing a car seat properly, find out firsthand what it’s like to work as an injury prevention coordinator at All Children’s Hospital.

The program’s leadership, clinical excellence, academic efforts and patient populations were some of the things that stood out to him when he was choosing his next level of eduction. All Children's Johns Hopkins Pediatric Residency Program welcomed its first class of residents in July 2014, Dr. Morrison is proud to be a part of the academic transformation at ACH.
Dr. Morrison feels the ACH JHM residency program provides a unique opportunity for residents to serve as leaders early in their careers across all domains of pediatrics, and also provides both didactic and hands-on training with an emphasis on individualized curricula to support each trainee's career goals.

Tom works as a supply clerk in Materials Management and has been with All Children's Hospital since 1990. Because he goes above and beyond in his role, he has received numerous Employee of the Month nominations over the years, including 2014 May Employee of the Month and 2003 July Employee of Month. Most recently, he was recognized by his fellow employees for his hard work, positive attitude, dedication and kindness.
Tom's department director said:
He has been nominated for Employee of the Month many times because of his helpful ways and the pride he takes in his Service Excellence and his role-modeling of the ACH Service Standards.
The night he received this Employee of the Year honor, Tom remarked, "I am very thankful to be part of the group of people who were recognized this evening and be part of the more than 3,000 wonderful people who daily care for the families and children who come through our doors," said Gombarcik, who is known throughout the ACH campus for always being helpful and willing to go the extra mile.
"I am truly thankful to be part of these two wonderful names in health care - All Children's Hospital and Johns Hopkins Medicine. I consider it a privilege to work here and I thank you very much."
