Marx attempted to set up a framework which could be applied to a number of conditions. And in applying this framework we cannot be afraid of the outcome because things change and we must be willing to acknowledge that change because we arc objective. If we are using the method of dialectical materialism we don’t expect to find anything the same even one minute later because “one minute later” is history. If things are in a constant state of change, we cannot expect them to be the same. Words used to describe old phenomena may be useless to describe the new. And if we use the old words to describe new events we run the risk of confusing people and misleading them into thinking that things are static.

In 1917 an event occurred in the Soviet Union that was called a revolution. Two classes had a contradiction and the whole country was transformed. In this country, 1970, the Black Panther Party issued a document. Our Minister of Information, Eldridge Cleaver, who now is in Algeria, wrote a pamphlet called “On the Ideology of the Black Panther Party.” In that work Eldridge Cleaver stated that neither the proletarians nor the industrial workers carry the potentialities for revolution in this country at this time. He claimed that the left wing of the proletarians, the lumpen proletarians, have that revolutionary potential, and in fact, acting as the vanguard, they would carry the people of the world to the final climax of the transformation of society. It has been stated by some people, by some parties, by some organizations, by the Progressive Labor Party, that revolution is impossible. How can the lumpen proletarians carry out a successful socialist transformation when they are only a minority?

This is a dialog between David Hilliard, Chief of Staff of the Black Panther Party.   “David: The Press Conference was called in response to the allegations that the BlackPanther Party had a delegation of Panther members led by Stokely Carmichael in Jordan.  The Minister of Defense, Huey P. Newton , is here to repudiate those statements because we do not have any Panthers in Jordan; but we do have an international section in Algeria headed by the Minister of Information, Eldridge Cleaver, and our Field Marshal, Donald Cox.  They are representatives of our Party who are in daily contact with the Palestinian Liberation organization, and they’er the only authorized Panthers outside of the United States of America.” David Hilliard.  This was the stance in 1970 when the Panthers left the country to try and bring peace to the people in the troubled lands then called the Holy lands.  With a base of opperations in Algeria negotiations were made betwen the Panthers and key leaders of that area to no avail.  As we can see now in 2015 this War is going on so strong now the people are fleeing the area. The Middle East has become the killing fields of humanity as the WHITE RACIST ZIONIST with the help of the American Government exterminate the people to steal the land. A wall has gone up in that country and the sensless killing of anyone including children who gets near it is horrific. We as a People must tell our Youth in the Military to not accept deployment to this area and become known as the murderers of an entire race of people. President Obama a black man is guilty of doing the bidding of the Devil and his regieme by continuing this war and continuing to supply the Jewish Zionist radicals with weapons of mass destruction. Jesus Christ and St. Augustine on "The Nature of Hell and Eternal Punishment"

    in Christianity

    TEXT: Mark 9:43-48

This is the second message in our series on Hell leading up to Halloween. People today, even many Christians, do not like to talk about Hell. However, I believe that if lost people become convinced about the reality of Hell, they would trust Christ as Savior. And if saved people believed in the reality of Hell, they would tell lost people how to be saved from Hell.

Today, we are going to consider the topic, "The Nature of Hell and Eternal Punishment" from St. Augustine. Augustine was a Christian theologian and philosopher who lived from 354 to 430 AD. He presided as the Bishop of Hippo in northern Africa (modern-day Algeria) for 34 years. He is well-known for his important works, "The City of God" and "Confessions."

  • St. Raymond Nonnatus

    in Religion

Rebroadcast of the long running radio program, "The Ave Maria Hour", a presentation of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement. www.AtonementFriars.org

Raymond was born at Portella, Catalonia, Spain. He was delivered by caesarean operation when his mother died in childbirth. Hence his name non natus (not born). He joined the Mercedarians under St. Peter Nolasco at Barcelona. He succeeded Peter as chief ransomer and went to Algeria to ransom slaves. He remained as hostage for several slaves when his money ran out and was sentenced to be impaled when the governor learned that he had converted several Mohammedans. He escaped the death sentence because of the ransom he would bring, but was forced to run the gauntlet. He was then tortured for continuing his evangelizing activities but was ransomed eight months later by Peter Nolasco. On his return to Barcelona in 1239, he was appointed Cardinal by Pope Gregory IX, but died at Cardona a short distance from Barcelona the next year while on the way to Rome. He was canonized in 1657. He is the patron saint of expectant mothers and midwives because of the nature of his own birth. Although his mother died in labor, Raymond miraculously survived the ordeal. His feast day is August 31.
