The NFL Standard w/ Alan Z & Bryan Yates

    in Football

Join Alan Zlotorzynski & Bryan Yates for a special Christmas Eve edition of THE NFL STANDARD at 8:30 tonight.

Tonight the guys look back on a wild Week 16 and get you set for an exciting final week of the NFL regular season. It’s the final push for NFL teams as the regular season ends on Sunday, December 28. All 16 games are division contests. And with one week to go, there are still 16 teams in contention for a trip to Super Bowl XLIX. Entering Week 17, 10 of the 16 games have playoff implication

In the AFC, three of the four division winners have been determined: New England (AFC East, home-field advantage), Denver (AFC West) and Indianapolis (AFC South). Cincinnati and Pittsburgh have both clinched a playoff spot and will face one another for the AFC North title on Sunday night in the final game of the 2014 regular season.

In the NFC, only one of the four division winners has been determined: Dallas (NFC East). Four teams have clinched at least a playoff spot: Arizona, Detroit, Green Bay and Seattle. Green Bay hosts Detroit and the winner will claim the NFC North division title. Seattle is in control of the NFC West by holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over Arizona. The NFC South will be determined by a “win-and-you’re-in” game between Carolina and Atlanta.

  • Law Makers + Ethics = Oxymoron; SC Attorney General Alan Wilson

    in Politics Conservative

It is purely by accident that today's first didcussion will be on politicians and ethics will be follwed with SC Attorney General ALan Wilson. Two totally different topics.

ox·y·mo·ron (äks?'môr?än), noun. a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory terms appear in conjunction (e.g., faith unfaithful kept him falsely true ).

One would think if someone is an elected official who is responsible to enforce existing laws and is a contributing creator of new laws that person would be an ethical individual. Too many times we find that Law Makers (politicians) + Ethics proves to be an oxymoron.  Why is it so difficult for these people to be ethical, law abiding individuals? They expect everyone else to be law abiding citizens. They insist everyone else to be ethical. Confusing isn't it?

SC Attorney General Alan WIlson will be joining us  during the second half of the morning show. General Wilson has the achieved the reputation of being one of the country's best States Attorneys. As he battles Federal Overreach to protect State's Rights, Political (public) Corruption, Illegal Alien Issues, Human Trafficking and Online Safety Alan Wilson has proven himself to be "THe People's Attorney".

I look forward to you joining us "In the Pickle Barrel" at 8AM-10AM EST, Tuesday December 23, 2014.

RAVENS MONDAY NIGHT QB PRESENTED BY FANSPEAK.COM

    in Football

Join Alan Zlotorzynski & Tavares Gooden for Ravens Monday Night Quarterback, presented by Fanspeak.com, EarnestByner21.com and Luxury Tax Inc. Earnest Byner will also join the show for his segment, “Coaches Corner” Tonight, the guys welcome in former Raven Edgar Jones, as this week’s special guest.

The Baltimore Ravens no longer control their playoff destiny thanks to a poor team outing and subsequent 25-13 loss to the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. Ravens QB Joe Flacco finished 21-for-50 for 195 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions. Much of his yardage came on the team’s final two drives as the Texans tried to run out the clock.

Texans fourth-string quarterback Case Keenum, who was signed earlier this week and had yet to take a snap this season, finished 20-for-42 for 185 yards and one interception. He wasn’t sacked.

Texans ultra-defensive star JJ Watt was as disruptive as advertised. Now, with two banged up offensive tackles and an injured starting running back, the Ravens must win on Sunday at home vs Cleveland and get some help to avoid missing the playoffs for the second consecutive season.

Alan. Tavares, Earnest and Edgar will break down the Ravens disappointing loss. You will hear from the players and coaches following yesterday’s game and you will also hear head coach John Harbaugh’s Monday Presser.

    Showtime is 9:00 p.m...

  • Baltimore Ravens Pregame Show with Alan Z & Tavares Gooden

    in Football

Join Alan Zlotorzynski of Fanspeak.com and former Ravens & 49ers linebacker Tavares Gooden, this morning at 11:00 a.m., for the Baltimore Ravens Pregame Show, presented by Fanspeak.com, EarnestByner21.com & Luxury Tax Inc.

Today, the Baltimore Ravens (9-5), winners in four of their past five games, travel to play the Houston Texans (7-7) at NRG Stadium. Coming off a 20-12 victory over Jacksonville last week, Baltimore is seeking its sixth playoff berth in the past seven years. Houston, which dropped a 17-10 decision at Indianapolis on Sunday, is 3-3 at home this season.

In seven all-time meetings between the Ravens and Texans, Baltimore holds a 6-1 advantage, including a 2011 Divisional playoff victory. Several former Ravens return to where their NFL careers began. Owen Daniels, Jacoby Jones, Justin Forsett and former Texans Head Coach Gary Kubiak all return to Houston---Daniels and Kubiak for the first time since leaving.

Entering Week 16, the Ravens own the AFC’s sixth playoff spot. Baltimore is in a tight race in the ultra-competitive AFC North, which is the only division in the NFL where three teams are at least three games above .500. The Ravens, who have already played five of their six division games (a Week 17 home battle with the Browns remains), are a half-game behind leader Cincinnati (9-4-1). Pittsburgh is also 9-5, and currently owns a tiebreaker over Baltimore, while Cleveland is 7-7

Alan & Tavares will breakdown todays contest. They will tell you how the Ravens can contain JJ Watt, continue to sack the opposing quarterback and come out of Houston with their 10th win of the 2014 campaign. You will hear from players such as Joe Flacco, former Texans TE Owen Daniels, JJ Watt, Andrea Johnson, Arian Foster and former Houston Head Coach Gary Kubiak. You will also hear from Coach Harbs, Timmy Jernigan & others.
