An Artist Speaks Season 4 Episode 7 with Guest Aimee Shattuck

    in Art

Listen to this entertaining and informative interview by host Michael Harris with guest artist Aimee Shattuck.  Aimee is inspired by beauty and creating beauty. There is nothing more thrilling to her than being able to create images that she finds to be a rendering of what Aimee finds beautiful. Much of her inspiration comes from burlesque, fashion, and erogenous individuals. Aimee is a yoga teacher by profession so using the body as a form of expression is something she has always appreciated, and this comes through in her art. She use postures, colors, fashionable accessories, and exaggerated facial expressions to convey emotion in her art pieces.

They've had some great successes and anyone who loves animals will be interested in hearing all about this. You might remember that Aimee was set to be on our show a couple weeks ago, but had some last minute scheduling problems. We’re super happy she can make it today.
