M. Elizabeth Hughes received her B.A. in Communication with a minor in Theatre from Wesleyan College in 2006. M. Elizabeth earned her M.F.A. in Film and Television Producing from Chapman University in 2008. Following graduation, she produced the feature film HERPES BOY starring Beth Grant (No Country For Old Men, Donnie Darko), Ahna O’Reilly (The Help) and Academy Award Winner Octavia Spencer (The Help). HERPES BOY toured the festival circuit and won several awards, including Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival and Best Comedy at Comic-Con International Film Festival. Following HERPES BOY, M. Elizabeth worked on WE LIVE IN PUBLIC the winner of the Grand Jury Prize for Best Documentary at Sundance 2009. She then line produced MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING, a modern adaptation of the Shakespeare play directed by Joss Whedon, which will be theatrically released in June 2013. The American Holistic Nurses' Certification Corporation (AHNCC), incorporated in 1997 and governed by a Board of Directors, is responsible for the development, administration and evaluation of the Holistic Nurses' Certification and School Endorsement Programs. AHNCC, an autonomous 501c(6) organization, collaborates with the American Holistic Nurses' Association (AHNA) to promote Holistic Nursing. Each organization has its own Board of Directors, Budget, Bylaws, Mission, Policies and Procedures. While the purpose of the two organizations differs, each aims to facilitate the growth and well-being of the other; both aim to promote the well-being of society by advancing Holistic Nursing. The AHNCC Board of Directors strives to ensure the validity, reliability, security and integrity of the Holistic Nurse Certification Program and the School Endorsement Program. The Executive Director is responsible for the management of daily activities related to AHNCC's Values, Mission, Purpose and Policies.

This weeks show brings us Connor Sauer, who definitely unapologetically lives her bliss.
At the young age of 30, in 1981, Connor accomplished a three-month solo trek through India and Nepal, initiating her in ancient spiritual traditions that are at the core of her life work. She has not stopped climbing the summits of the hot topics of today’s changing world.
Mother, Grandmother, author, speaker, coach, mentor-guide, and program development specialist, Connor holds National Certification in Mediation and Massage Therapy. In 1989 she founded an Environmental Organization called Clean Air Now while serving on the Governing Council of the Southwest Institute for Woman. In the mid-1990’s Connor was instrumental in creating the Air Quality Forum in Port Angles, WA, which brought State Agencies from Ecology and Health together with private industry and environmental organizations, to address mutual concerns.
Connor is the Founder of a woman's rites of passage ceremony, Long Dance, now running for over 20 years in the Pacific Northwest. In 1994, she created a Bosnian Necklace Project that brought hope to women in the Rape Camps of Bosnia. She has been a Master of Ceremonies for AHNA and Keynote for other national conferences. She was selected as the April Moxy Woman 2009 for Women Taking Care of Business Inc., honoring her life and work.
Connor has been instrumental in mentoring and coaching women into Leadership consciousness and is a published author in the book Wilderness Therapy for Women, Hawthorn Press 1994, along with many articles in magazines on the green movement, woman’s issues, personal growth and development, and her life living in America’s National Parks.
