Dan, Kelly, and Paul are back for the Overtime period on BTR. The Final OTP on Blog Talk, and the last show EVER from the HIAC Talk Radio Network on BTR. This week, Bettman gets an award? A USHL Champion is crownded then ceases operations. Plus the latest NHL, AHL and other playoff hockey updates.
Join myself and co-host Lance Williams tonight for a special Friday night edition of The Standard is the Standard where we talk about anything and everything Pittsburgh Steelers related.
On the show tonight we will be discussing the Steelers chances of defeating the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night and winning the AFC North, as well as the team's playoff hopes as they prepare for their first playoff appearance in 3 seasons.
Also, we will be tackling some burning questions such as: Is the Steelers winning the division as important as people think, or is it just another feather in the cap? Will the Steelers be able to run the ball effectively against the Bengals Sunday? Will the defense be able to withstand the offensive attack in the AFC Playoff picture?
We will answer these as well as take your phone calls. It has been a while since the Steelers made the playoffs, so we want to hear from you. Call the show (347) 850-8581 and be a part of the conversation! You can hear the show live on our BlogTalkRadio page, and can hear it in podcast form here at behindthesteelcurtain.co as well as download it for free on iTunes by searching 'The Standard is the Standard' in your iTunes store.
The year is wrapping up and the Playoffs are a week away. Most teams have clinhced a spot already. The chargers Clinch the last playoff spot in the AFC with a win. Other teams need the The Chargers to lose and help in other games. In the NFC, spots are taking but the seeding is still not chosen. Depending on what happens today depends on who has home field advantage and all that good stuff.
The most memorable Cowboys regular season since 2009 is coming to a close Sunday at noon in Washington, as Dallas looks for their 12th win and an outside shot at a 1st round bye in the NFC Playoffs.
Let that marinate for a few seconds.
There's lots to discuss on this weeks show, including where Tony Romo falls on the short list of NFL MVP candidates, Jerry Jones' chances at Executive of the Year, and Jason Garrett's likelihood of being voted the league's best coach.
Dustin Copening, Jeff Bowers, and Jeff Feltman address those topics, get you up to speed on the key details of this weekend's Redskins game, and much much more.
Thanks for tuning in, and don't forget to tell 3 friends!
