On this edition of, "Creating Life's New Normal," I have the fortunate opportunity to chat with former Denver Bronco Running back Reggie Rivers.
Mr. Rivers shares his life's lessons from the grid iron and how he has used this platform to propel him into running a successful speaking business, auctioneer, and author.
Mr. Rivers signed with the Denver Broncos in 1991 as an undrafted free agent running back out of Southwest Texas State University (now renamed Texas State University). He played 6 seasons with the Broncos. In 1991, he was named to Pro Football Weekly’s All-Rookie Team as a special teams player and in 1992, he won the Broncos Community Action Player Award in recognition of his volunteer service throughout Colorado.
Here are just a few of Mr. Rivers accomplishments.
In 1992, he won the Bob Martin Award, given annually to the Broncos player who is most cooperative with the media.
In 1993, his teammates selected him as Special Teams Player of the Year.
In 1993, he was named the Broncos NFL Man of the Year for superior athletic and civic performance.
In 1995, he won the NFL Unsung Hero Award in recognition of volunteer efforts.
In 1996, he was named the Broncos NFL Man of the Year for the second time.
Reggie attended Texas State University on a full athletic scholarship. During his collegiate career, he amassed 2,500 career yards and was named to four All-American teams. He was a Southland Conference Scholar Athlete of the Year, and he has been inducted into the Texas State University Hall of Honor and the Southland Conference Hall of Honor.
The outrageous policy decisions of the administration has now, in essence, told the Border Patrol to stop enforcing our immigration laws. This is the astonishing claim made by the Brandon Judd, the president of the union that represents our valiant Border Patrol when he testified before a House Immigration Subcommittee hearing on the topic: “Another Surge of Illegal Immigrants Along the Southwest Border: Is this the Obama Administration’s New Normal?” The Washington Examiner's reported “Border agent: 'We might as well abolish our immigration laws altogether'”
Additionally on Feb. 3, 2016 CAPS (Californians for Population Stabilization) posted my article, “ Orders of Deportation (Removal) = Orders of Protection for Americans.”
The Social Contract just published its Winter 2016 edition. It included my article, “Sanctuary Cities Endanger - National Security and Public Safety.”
Finally, I was a guest on the Newsmax-TV show, “DML Unfiltered” this past week. Here is the link for the segment: “DML Unfiltered | Dan Stein, Michael Cutler & Bill Tucker on enforcing health screenings at border”
Please tell your friends about my show and join my “Bucket Brigade of Truth!” Also- make certain to get involved- Democracy is not a spectator sport!

Tune in for another Historic Segement with one of Detroit's music Legends MELVIN DAVIS!!

It's easy to overlook, or not hear, Davis' vast musical contributions, because this giant was unjustly somewhat under the radar in the '60s and early '70s radio mainstream. But he was certainly there all along. He's the impossibly funky drummer behind guitarist Dennis Coffey and organist Lyman Woodard on the legendary, sample-worthy single "River Rouge"/"It's Your Thing"; the evocative lead vocalist on the 8th Day's AM soul staple "You've Got to Crawl (Before You Walk)"; the songwriter who penned J.J. Barnes' desperate ode "Chains of Love," which — in the hands of Detroit rock band the Dirtbombs — served as the musical centerpiece of the 2007 Julian Schnabel art-house film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly. Songwriter royalties aside, Davis is still not a household name.
