A Vietnam Veteran's March on Washington DC

    in Health

I recently read an article that stated that roughly 300,000 veterans have died from agent orange, that's roughly 5 times as many as
the 58,000 that died in combat there! These are astonishing figures. 11 million gallons of AO was sprayed over 200 million acres and much of it in areas used as large bases for
US troops. This has put over 300 million Vietnam vets and their families at risk. One soldier put it this way, "you know we all took a bullet there, some of us just didn't know it". That bullet, that wound has never healed. It has never even been recognized as a wound. When will he people and the government of the United States begin to realize the bad hand we were dealt? When will the government realize that perhaps there should be 300,000 names on that wall, with plenty of space left over in Washington, DC?  Our group is not about posting photos, bringing up good or bad memories, it's about solidarity in holding the chemical companies, the US government and the Veterans Administration responsible for what they have done to us. There have been many injustices imposed upon various peoples, factions and groups. We are one faction, one group that has been overlooked. Isn't it about time we
did something about this? I am going to dedicate our next broadcast to establish a march on Washington DC and our cause that he did in Selma, Alabama. March with US Mr. president!

John Bury Discusses The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Agent Orange Act

    in Military

Although the Vietnam War has been over for more than four decades, there are so many veterans that are suffering from exposure to Agent Orange and have received little or no help. Why is there such an outrageously long delay to provide veterans with assistance? Is this due to more negligence on the part of the Veteran’s Administration?

In this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, host, June Stoyer talks to Mr. John J. Bury, a retired US Navy and Vietnam War Veteran who is also a veterans’ advocate. He is going to talk about two recent legislative Bills.  HR-969 and S.681,The Blue Water Navy Vietnam Veterans Agent Orange Act.  Stay tuned!

  • Badgers, Wildcats, Blue Devils, Spartans reach Final Four, recap of the Elite 8

    in Sports

In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec will recap all of the Elite 8 games.  Four teams were cutting down nets, as they won they region: Wisconsin Badgers, Kentucky Wildcats, Michigan State Spartans, and the Duke Blue Devils.

Wisconsin struggled shooting, once again, in the first half. The second half was a different story, as it seemed, the Badgers could not miss from behind the arc.  Arizona stayed in this game by getting to the foul line; 30 times, and out rebounding the Badgers by one.  Sam Dekker iced the game, with a high arching three pointer with 20 seconds left, making the score 84-76.

Kentucky remained perfect, only after Andrew Harrison made two free throws, with 6 seonds left. Jerian Grant missed a three pointer from the corner, as time expired. In a back and forth game, Kentucky outlasted the Irish, 68-66.

Tom Izzo is going back to the Final Four, for the seventh time. Louisville and Michigan State gave the fans, an extra five minutes, of basketball. As the media talked to Travis Trice, Denzel Valentine, and Brandon Dawson, without sharp shooter Bryn Forbes, the Spartans may have been watching the Final Four, from Lansing, MI. Forbes made 4 or 6 three pointers and finished with 14 points.

All-American Jahill Okafor was held to 9 points, on 4 of 10 shooting. However, the other four starters all scored, in double digits.  Led by Justise Winslow and Matt Jones, with 16.  Like Forbes, the Blue Devils should be putting the microphone, in Jones corner.  He buried 4 of 7 three pointers, and the Blue Devils took control of this game late, and never looked back.

The High Cost of Low Living. How I Stopped Paying & Started Investing

    in Spirituality

In this segment, Things get turned inside out. Dixie Gillaspie interviews Todd Weaver in a turn of the tides. Todd is the Host of this very show and shares his story of overcoming the self inflicted obstacles he has encountered in his life and how he continues to seek insight and share his story. Our guest host Dixie, has been called a firestarter, a muse, and a blast through artist. But most people who know her just call her "Dynamite, a nickname she acquired in the second grade. In her words, she has been a coach, business consultant and analyst, a change agent, and a general trouble-shooter to entrepreneurs and business leaders for more years than she is willing to admit. She is the author of Just Blow it Up, Firepower for Living an Unlimited Life and a companion book, Doses of Dynamite, Firepower for Capturing the Inspiration in Everyday Things. Dixie considers herself more of a story teller than a speaker, but she’s shared the stage with the likes of Zig Ziglar, Bob Burg, John David Mann, Scott Ginsberg and Mark Sanborn. She's allergic to the word CAN'T and her Blast Thru Coaching method is a process for challenging, and even eliminating that word from your vocabulary. You can learn more about Dixie HERE and follow her on Facebook and Twitter. As always, you can follow Todd on Facebook and Twitter.
