SORT BY Relevancy
Dr. Newton has compiled some data that even shocked him and he has known for decades that inflation is eating away at a person's purchasing power! When you hear what it cost to live in 1960 versus now and how your costs for everything have been escalted by the rampant inflation in our economy, you will understand why you have so little discretionary income, if any at all! Also, there is a rampant ageism (age discrimination) that is systemic throughout the U.S. economy. Do not dispair, there are real solutions to this conspiracy of sorts! Dr. Newton will share how this can be done and has covered such things in his book to be released in late March, "Beyond the Mists of Time". Additionally, much of this is covered in Dr. Newton's second book, "A Map to Healing and Your Essential Divinity Through Theta Consciousness". As each day passes, more and more wealth is being concentrated in less and less hands. Also there is a deliberate attempt by companies to fire higher cost veteran workers and also to keep existing employees as part timers so as not have to pay benefits like heath care. This show airs Thurs, 2-26-15 at 7 PM PST. Call into 347 838 9070 to present your questions and share your experiences on these subjects. Documentry filmmaker Jill Morley documented her journey into boxing and tells stories of the many female pugilists she encounters along the way in the award winning documentry "Fight Like a Girl".
Morley’s story of abuse and depression is the main focus of the movie, which proves fighting is not only a physical game but a mental one as well. Each fighter including Morely must not only fight opponents and fatigue; they also must overcome doubt, heartbreak, and past traumas.
Among them, a boxer looking to snap a losing streak (Kim Tomes), one on the rise in the sport but fighting ageism (Susan Merlucci), and an undefeated pro recovering from mental stumbling blocks as she seeks gold (Maureen Shea).
We will talk to Morley about the film, and the reaction she has been getting from fans and fellow boxers.
