Halloween: ancient, pagan and Satanic. As followers of Christ, should we celebrate, take part or agree with this day? Should children be taught it is ok to dress up ghouls, goblins, witches, demons, and other things that are evil? Are we teaching our children that evil is fun? Many will continue to celebrate and worship Satan under the guise of fun and partying. Com join us today as we reveal Halloween, the day of the dead, not a day for Christians.

Within the black community a war has been going on, a war on color. As if society doesn't degrade the darker toned person enough, we do it to our own people. What is beautiful? Every shade, and this show we explore the origins of colorism, and the impact it has had on so many within the family, and socity as a whole. We must come together as #Teamblackgirl (or boy) instead of telling our African-American brothers and sisters that must fit into a certain mold to be beautiful. Low self-seeem is something that close to all people will deal with in their lifetime, why make their stuggle for self-acceptance any harder? This is the beginning of a revolution. No more team light skin, no more team dark skin, we are all African, African-American, we are all beautiful. Join the unity movement with #Teamblackgirls!
in The Bible
Isaiah 58:12-14King James Version (KJV)
12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the SET APART of the YHWH, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:
14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the YHWH; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of YSRAEL thy father: for the mouth of the YHWH hath spoken it.
2 Kings 13:3-5New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all theirdays. 4 So Jehoahaz pleaded with the Lord, and the Lord listened to him; for He saw the oppression of Israel, because the king of Syria oppressed them. 5 Then the Lord gave Israel a deliverer, so that they escaped from under the hand of the Syrians; and the children of Israel dwelt in their tents as before.

Meet the first African American Stewardess hired by Delta Air Lines in1966 !
In all of the stories about aviation and its history, the stories of the first African American stewardesses have been left untold and unknown. We first took to the skies when flying was glamorous and exclusive and little girls dreamt of being stewadesses, models, or movie stars. We rubbed elbows with the elite and we traveled the world when few others could. We flew as pioneers in a global society long before the time of the Internet and globalization. We also kept our heads high facing down racial prejudice and discrimination. We lived as Stars in the Sky
Patricia Grace Murphy was the first African American Stewardess to break the color barrier for Delta Air Lines. Pat's stories and other pioneers in aviation are featured in my book Stars in the Sky which will be released in November. Visit the archives to hear the show and listen to my call in guest Terry Taylor another African American Stewardess featured in my book, exchange stories with Pat about the early years of flying. We were also honored to have Pat's first supervisior, June Huerman share some stories about those turbulent days and assisting Pat with her new life in aviation.
Please listen each week for updates on my book, or visit my website www.theflygirl10.com
Gameworld book: Dylan Rudee's life is an epic fail. He's bullied at school and the aunt who has raised him since he was orphaned as a child just lost her job and their apartment. Dylan's one chance to help his family is the only thing he's good at: video games. The multibillion-dollar company Mee Corp. has announced a televised tournament to find the Game-Changers: the forty-four kids who are the best in the world at playing Xamaica, a role-playing fantasy game that's sweeping the planet. If Dylan can win the top prize, he just might be able to change his life.
