In 2015, its slim pickings in the AFC South with a wasteland of aging veterans and unproven starters in the division lots of fantasy owners will stay away unless its the 2nd son of the Colts Mr. Luck.
The AFC South has one of the, if not the, best Quaterback in the game. Can Luck take his division again or has the Texans done enough in the offseason to dethrown them. The Jaguars have a very young team along with the Titans, will they be contenders or bottom feeders once again. The Division was in the Colts hands most of the season but the Texans made a great attempt at making a playoff push and going for the Division. This division has two playoff quality teams and we don't know what the young guns have up their sleeves.
"With the second pick in the NFL draft, the Tennessee Titans select Marcus Mariota" and "With the third pick in the NFL draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars select Dante Fowler, Jr." The AFC South proudly had the Indianapolis Colts, in the AFC Championship game. However, they also had two teams that drafed second and third, respectively.
The Indianapolis Colts have won back to back AFC East titles, and played in the AFC Championship. Andrew Luck has been everything the Colts hoped for when they drafted him with the first pick. Offensively, they can line up against defense and put up points. The finished third in passing offense, but a disappointing 22nd, in rushing. Defensively, the ranked a modest 11th, in yards allowed. The lack of pass rush was evident, in the AFC Championship. Through the draft and free agency, the Colts added Andre Johnson, Frank Gore, and Phillip Dorsett. Two areas of concern: the offensive line and defense.
Houston finished 9-7, and made the division race interesting, at one point. However, J.J. Watt can not do everything even though he tried. This team is the complete opposite of the Colts. They win with defense. They added Vince Wolfork, and are hoping that Jadeveon Clowney can return from his knee injury, and be as good as advertised. Adrian Foster is going to miss significant time, which will hurt an already struggling offense. The biggest question will be quarterback play. They traded for Ryan Mallett last year, let Ryan Fitzpatrick leave, but Brian Hoyer is listed as the starting quarterback. There should be no concern about defense, but offensively there are huge question marks.

On this episode of FSP, Vic and Jerry will breakdown the AFC South and get the listeners prepared for the upcoming football season, yes that's right football season. Who will come out as the division winner, the Colts, Titans, Jaguars, or the Texans? The two will also discuss Kyrie Irving's injury which ends his time in the NBA Playoffs. Can Lebron James take the cast of characters such as Delladova, JR Smith, Iman Shumperad, Mosgov and the rest to the winner's circle of the NBA Playoffs? Or will this be a repeat of how he and the Miami Heat faired in their first trip to the finals? Also, a little MMA action in UFC will be on tap. If time permits Vic and Jerry will discuss a little fantsy baseball. If you can't catch the show live, you can alsways come back to blogtalkradio.com/vichbk or www.SpotOnRadios.com where Draft King and FSP Network can provide you the best action and information on the internet.
Jaguars SuperFan Ryan Mercier talks with Colts SuperFan Dan Koester about the off-season moves for all of the AFC South. Jacksonville made a pretty big splash getting TE Julius Thomas and showing the change in culture while the Colts got some great players in the latter half of their careers such as Andre Johnson and Frank Gore.
Ryan and Dan do their best to cover the Titans and Texans as well. Should the Titans take QB Marcus Mariota in the Draft? Are the Texans as good as their 9-7 record from 2014?
Along with free agency and the draft for all four teams in the division, they touch base on the recently released 2015 NFL schedule.

This wednesday marks another thrilling episode of Ashes in the Fall! Join Brooks, Charles, and Joma as they discuss the AFC South as well as the NFC North. How good will the Colts be? Can the Vikings pose an actual threat to the Green Bay Packers. We will discuss this and more! Show begins at 7pm EST.
We've saved the best preview for last: the AFC South, which is by far the best division in the NFL. Even is for some weird reason the division isn't very good this season, at the very least, the division should be competitive.
Do the Colts have enough in them to take the division again? Can Locker stay healthy and lead the Titans to challenge for the division? Can the Texans... Nevermind, they're the Texans. Is Blake Bortles a HoFer?
All this (though less than what I've mentioned is probably likely) in tonight's show.
