The diagnosis of the conditions Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are on a very steep rise, especially, in America. In fact, according to a 2010 US government survey, 1 in 10 American children now have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder – that’s a 22 percent increase from 2003! Moreover, about two thirds of these children are on some form of medication. Oddly enough, however, in France the diagnosis occurs in less than 5% of children! Why is there such a huge difference between these 2 countries? Is it lifestyle? Diet? Upbringing? The medical establishment? Are the majority of these children really hyperactive or are they simply victims of social conditioning?
In this episode, Dr. Budweiser, founder of Weiser Living, will reveal his take on this vastly over-diagnosed condition. He will share what he believes is really going on and explore how parents can support their children who are having difficulties with attention and hyperactivity using a natural approach effectively.
You will learn:
Does ADD/ADHD Really Exist?
How Diet, Environmental Factors And Social Conditioning Might Be The Real Issue
Are ADD/ADHD Medications Really Necessary?
Side Effects Of Ritalin And Other Methylphenidate-Based Medications.
Dietary & Lifestyle Factors To Address If Your Child Has “ADHD”
Lifestyle Factors That Can Make A Huge Difference
Supplements To Support A Healthy Child.
… and much, much more!
So be sure to tune in to a very active and attention grabbing 30 minutes with Dr. Budweiser!

So excited to have my dear sister, Alisha M. to speak with me on air! It brings me joy to be able to introduce you to her....
Alisha shares part of her experiences....
"Through high school I was in an unstable and unhealthy relationship, and this shaped the way I saw
myself and gauged my worth extensively. Furthermore, I allowed this person to be a source of moral
authority and approval for who I was. My story is not too different from many young people nowadays
struggling to know how to live and learn while simply needing to be loved. I used my body to gain what I
thought would make me happy and give me peace. Really, though, it was a spiritual trap."
Alisha & I met in 2013 being involved with a church young adults ministry in Las Vegas, NV.
She currently lives in Montana.

Please join me this Wednesday, November 18th, 2015, at 3:00pm PST, as I welcome the founders of InventiveLabs, Rick Fiery and Tom Bergeron, plus special guest Dr. Ned Hallowell, who is on the organization’s advisory board.
The Lab works with college aged (and older) adults, most of whom have ADHD and/or dyslexia, to help them identify and turn their passions into livelihoods. The one size fits all model for the educational system and the workforce does not work well for many of these young adults. Far too often, these are the ones that have fallen through the cracks and feel shame. They may be unemployed, have dropped out of school, or are home after what appeared to be a promising start. InventiveLabs teaches these creative souls the entrepreneurial skills to become fashion designers, techies, makers/builders, game designers, and authors.
Dr. Hallowell, a world-renowned expert in the ADHD community and the author of many books, including NY Times Bestseller Driven to Distraction declared "The need for InventiveLabs is tremendous. The number of gifted, talented people who are simply not finding a place for themselves is staggering. It is a huge, huge waste."

Children and adults with intellectual or developmental disability may not be able to always tell you that they are experiencing pain, but it’s our responsibility to understand there are many reasons that people with ID/DD are experiencing pain. In this episode of Pain Waves Radio by Pain BC, Dr. Beverley Temple discusses how we can improve the quality of life of those with ID/DD by addressing the issue of chronic pain.
Dr. Temple is an Associate Professor with the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Health Sciences, College of Nursing and a Researcher with the St. Amant Research Centre. Her research focuses on support of people with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Autism and their families.
This episode is generously co-sponsored by the Kootenay Community Council. The Kootenay Community Council, and other Community Councils around the province, work with Community Living BC (CLBC) to ensure accountability to communities, to inform CLBC of local trends and innovation, and to act in an advisory role at the local and regional levels. Community Living BC is the Crown Corporation that provides funding to support adults who are living with developmental disabilities in BC.
