He is a 18 year, multiple combat and service veteran of the United States Army, with many years of experience in combat, survival, policing and security as well. These glowing resumes lead Daniel to actively follow his passion for Survival, where he is the Owner and CEO of Survival Extreme Catalog Inc. Second we have Mike Gibb from K9 Hero Heaven which began in 2011adopting and rescuing retired law enforcement and military dogs, some of which we saved from being euthanized. We have saved these dogs from all over the US. These dogs have issues both with medical and behavior that make them difficult to adopt into a normal household. We worked on rehabilitating them over time. In August of 2015 we started a program adopting retired military dogs who served overseas to combat veterans as companion dogs. My husband being an 8 year Army veteran and a veteran of Iraqi Freedom we wanted to start a program to provide help to veterans.
Finally we have some of the members involved with the movie Project 22 that will be coming on the air to speak with up about the movie and some of the current events pertaining to it.
SPECIAL NIGHT-TIME BROADCAST
1st HOUR: American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) writes rubber stamp laws for state governments across the country. "A bill mill" for over twenty-eight state legislatures in the United States it started as a secret society among the devoted followers of the plutocratic Koch brothers in Wichita, Ks. Mass opposition has caused corporations to stop being sponsors of ALEC. Yet over fifty representatives of the Kansas Legislature spent $14,000 of taxpayers money in travel expenses to the last convention in San Diego, California.
Today in downtown Lawrence in the South Side Park, protesters marched through downtown Lawrence and gathered to hear elected leaders and others in opposition to ALEC in Kansas. Hear the speeches today and the sounds of protest in Kansas on Radio Free Kansas.
2nd HOUR: Amanda Marcotte's last RH Reality Cast #399. We'll miss her voice every Wednesday on RFK.
Then Dr. Kenneth Dowst's New World Notes latest with "Energy News."
Ending if time permits - Radio Wave News from upstate New York's WGXC.
Players entertain free agency in all of the major sports, and media members will try to get the inside scoop. Stephen A. Smith was talking about a possible landing spot for Kevin Durant. Durant is currently under contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder, but could be a free agent if he doesn't sign a long term deal. Smith was mentioning that Los Angeles could be a top priority for the NBA superstar. Durant immediately called Smith a liar, and then the war of words began. It escalated to the point of Smith telling Durant, “You don’t want to make an enemy out of me.”
We welcome Eugene Pitchford; of Home Court Sports, to talk about his opinion on this media vs. player spat. Who will win the war of words? After we discuss this spat, we will then turn our attention to the Stephon Marbury comments about Michael Jordan. Both are in the shoe business, but Marbury has produced a quality shoe at an affordable price ($15), while a pair of Air Jordans are well over $100. Marbury tweeted "Jordan has been robbing the hood since. Kids dying for shoes and the only face this dude makes is I don't care. The time will change!" Where does Stephon Marbury want this to go? Listen in and call the show with your thoughts?
In Baltimore in 1910, a black Yale law school graduate purchased a home in a previously all-white neighborhood. The Baltimore city government reacted by adopting a residential segregation ordinance, restricting African Americans to designated blocks. Explaining the policy, Baltimore’s mayor proclaimed, “Blacks should be quarantined in isolated slums in order to reduce the incidence of civil disturbance, to prevent the spread of communicable disease into the nearby White neighborhoods, and to protect property values among the White majority.”

“This is I.T. (Inconvenient Truth)!!!!”
This is “IT”!!!! Change is part of life that everyone needs to learn and understand what can be done to make a smooth transition from the “Old” to the “New.”
I have Adopted My Disease so I Adapted
Many of you know that I have a nerve disease that seems to change with day and time. I stopped fighting the disease not to give in but instead I “Adopted” the disease so that I could “Adapt” how I live. Adopting my disease I am taking on the responsibility of raising awareness along with the ups and downs that goes with adoption. It isn’t easy adapting something that many can’t fathom, but it is on me to have the understanding and knowledge in order to continue life. To break it down think of it the same way you adopt a child. You take full responsibility in raising another life. Well my new life also had to be adopted. I am responsible in what I do to ensure I continue to live without limits. I have to nurture myself so that I know what I put in is what I get out. I am never nurturing to let it stop me from living; but I am nurturing my mind, body, and spirit as to know that I define my life and that I have the right resources within me.
