    RED ICE:

In the third and concluding volume of the satirical sci-fi trilogy, The Chronicles of Dekaydence, Mother Nature quits God. God quits Heaven. Clowns invade Heaven. Meanwhile, back on earth, Will, Ruby Q and Piccolo pursue their dreams but experience nightmares. They now realise what the Phoenix knew all along - it's not climate change ruining the planet so much as greedy, corrupt adults such as those working for the Company of Dekaydence, under the control of the ruthless Lord di'Abalo. There's a killer chocolate cake on the loose, and a strange drug that erases most anyone who gets in the way of progress. Times, they are a changin' and getting darker by the day. There's a lost mother to encounter; justice for a murdered father; and time to admit a secret love. And then there's Colin, a wild crazy liz'oid addicted to tomato ketchup, that makes the metal critters, the haggoids, Cromarty and Ross, look like cuddly toys.

  • Guest is radio host Temple Hayes, author of 'When Did You Die?"

    in Spirituality

Rebel, renegade, and resurrected a thousand times, Temple Hayes is a spiritual trailblazer for our time.
Raised in South Carolina, she was born to question everything. Why must everything be just as her Southern Baptist family told her it should be? Enduring a heartbreaking childhood and a traumatized youth, she turned to a new understanding of Spirit to pull her from the car wrecks of alcohol addiction and through a hundred different fears. Firm in her conviction that the Creator loves you as you are and wants to have a conversation, Temple forged a new life from the ashes of her day-by-day death, a life that embraces bringing others to this realization and opening their hearts. Temple, an accomplished and practicing shaman, is a catalyst for turning lingering sorrows into brighter tomorrows and restoring all parts of the soul.

Now the spiritual leader at Unity Campus in St. Petersburg, Florida, she is revered internationally, and a key
member of the Leadership Council of the Association of Global New Thought. Her new book, When Did You Die? is anchored in her work to fast-forward people to impassioned and energized living. In addition to When Did You Die?, she has also authored, How to Speak Unity and The Right to Be You. Her popular radio show The Intentional Spirit reaches millions around the world.

Temple is the founder of Life Rights, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the right of all to live the life of their intention in freedom and peace, and the SOFI Project, a non-profit organization that rescues and rehabilitates dogs and cats globally. For more information, visit www.templehayes.com.

Alijandra is an internationally-known author, teacher, healer and vehicle for both Source information, energy and ascended master St. Germain. In the field professionally 30 yrs, she is the founder/author of Healing with the Rainbow Rays published in 1995.

The Bedlam Memoirs, Insanity Returns to the Dew Drop Inn and Out

    in Spirituality

As one who always loved to immerse his face in the stream of life, let's talk about people who want to run away from it. Memoirs is about those who do in fact flee the challenge of life and seek refuge, in their case not in a bottle but rather in the nuthouse. Of course, enough bottle and the nuthouse (or prison or death) is just one more slip away. As a shrink I knew and worked with many people who were addicted, especially to booze. In fact, I often took them to their first AA meeting, something few shrinks do. No, I wasn't a member, but there are open meetings. I would try to arrange for one of my other clients who was living sober to be there for that same meeting. Funny coincidence...NOT! I would just say, "Hey Matt, this is Cathy. She can help you understand what's happening maybe go with you to a regular meeting." That helped a lot of people get their start in recovery.

So what does that have to do with my writing? Well, drunks tell great stories. I have another book, "Tales From the Dew Drop Inne", that tells the story of the gang who hang at that bar, which I set in Albuquerque. Not too surprisingly, the gang goes to find one of their number at a meeting to get him to be part of their bar softball team. Well, you can imagine what happens, but we can talk it.
