Devin Gardner and Devin Funchess led the way in the first half for the Wolverines, who entered the break with a 35-0 lead due in part to Funchess' three touchdowns.
Ushering in the No. 1 jersey in style, Funchess, a junior, made difficult catches look like child's play en route to becoming the first Wolverines receiver to open the year with a trio of six-pointers.
Derrick Green and De'Veon Smith combined for 285 yards and three touchdwons. Smith scored twice, Green once.
