Breaking Every Chain with the Children of Muhammad ~

    in Current Events

Let the children tell you how they see the current events in this world in which we live~

The challenge facing all of us is to rise above the things that have kept us divided in the past, by focusing us on the agenda of creating a better future for our people to see how all of us, with all of our varied differences, can come together and direct our energy, not at each other, but at the condition of the reality of the suffering of our people, that we might use all of our skills, gifts and talents to create a better world for ourselves, our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. It is time for us to stop thinking and acting solely on behalf of our churches, mosques, temples, synagogues and organizations. It is time for us as leaders to come together and begin to think, plan, and act on behalf of the whole of our people. We must put an end to the Mischief and the Mischief Maker!

TALL CITY BLUES FEST, BERNARD ALLISON, BLUES411 REPORT, BETH MCKEE, ROY GOREN

    in Music

Show # 271 – Live, Uncut & Uncensored Conversations With “Musicians You Should Know”

Lisa Grissom from Tall City Blues Fest stops by to discuss the festival on July 10, 11 & 12.  Music On The Couch will be webcasting live once again and I am acting as stage Emcee for this Festival partner.

Bernard Allison just released his first studio album in 6 years entitled In The Mix, which features all of Bernard's influences. Learning to play at an early age and listening to his dad's albums, put Bernard on solid ground.  He has made himself into his own man and we will explore his journey.

Chefjimi comes by with the Blues411 Report and I am sure it will include updates on the new bionic knee.

COUCH KID NEW MUSIC TIMES TWO

First, Beth McKee brings her new album, the just released Sugarcane Revival to the Couch and we will speak with her about what has been going on in her life since she last sat with us back in June of 2011.

Another Couch Kid returns when Ray Goren brings his EP Save My Soul to share.  Ray originally sat with me as part of the Generation Blues Band with Jamie “Bluesboy” Powell.  Jamie passed recently and Ray is continuing with the lessons he learned from his mentor and friend.

When The Cat's Are Away The Mice Will Play - Guest tonight: Christopher Serrone

    in Sports

In Studio Tonight: Joe Corrado, Luigi Curto

Tonight's guest: Christopher Serrone- The actor who portrayed young Henry Hill in the classic film Goodfellas will be joining us tonight.  Christopher will give us the story on how he landed the part as young Henry Hill, all of his experiences on the set and what he's been up to since.  Plus some of the new ventures in his life currently.

Tony and Robin are away on a much deserved vacation but alas, the show must go on.  So the keys to the Tony Bruno machine have been handed to Luigi and Joe to host their first ever live show. Unsupervised and armed to teeth with wine, will these two young guns succeed or set a blaze the largest dumpster fire in the history of broadcasting? TUNE IN TO FIND OUT!

We opened the show tonight with a ripping of the fruit of Miss Robins loins

The great Jose from Norristown was Luigi and Joe's first ever live call and he did not disappoint

We talked with Christopher Serrone about his legendary role as the young Henry Hill in Goodfellas.  He did not hold back and was a fantastic guest.

The boys went heavy on the phones tonight and took calls that stretched from Colorado to Florida

We also had a small update about a man that could'nt yell B.I.N.G.O because he was too busy slashing tires
