Kansas City, MO – What if life could be easier? The good news is it can be. You have the power to make a significant change in your life, the power to shape and form a vision. Unfortunately, the step people often leave out is taking action toward that vision.
Carla McClellan is an International Coach Federation ACC-certified life coach and the founder of Life Coaching With Carla, where she supports her clients to live a life of clarity, focus, ease and grace. Carla helps her clients recognize their intentions and develop the necessary tools to navigate obstacles and listen to your inner wisdom.
“I want to be your soul’s best friend,” says Carla. “My whole theme is vibrant living. What the world needs now are people who wake up every day and are alive. We all have dreams and goals. I help you uncover your intentions and form a strategy to bring them into your life.”
Carla says her clients are typically people who are interested in spiritual development. They’ve lost a sense of connection with their passion and feel like their life is on autopilot.
“We create a space where people can cough up their fur balls,” says Carla. “Our brains are tipped toward the negative. What’s missing? What needs to be fixed? If we hit that pause button there’s another voice inside us, a voice of wisdom. My goal is to reach as many people as I can. There is a way through everything. It might be dark right now, but there is a light switch. I can hold your hand while we look for it.”

Seth Godin stretches my mind. I've read several of his books and each one of them challenged me to believe that I have more to share with the world. On this show whether it’s a toxic work culture or stagnation in your craft, Godin urges us all to recapture the child-like delight in taking a risk.
“You may know how to use fancy design tools, but if there isn’t that leap that leads to connection, it doesn’t matter….you’re not making art,” says Godin. “We didn’t build stuff because we need more beautifully laid out menus. We did it because people want to be touched, noticed, and connected.”

Welcome to a very special show--- Part I of a three part series on PASSION! Too often, people live lives that are full of monotony and boredom. Folks get up in the morning, go to work, come home and watch television, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day. Some of us may be less regimented than this; however, we may still feel empty and unfulfilled. Although we may experience joyful and fun-filled times, most often we may lament the life we wish we were living or the opportunities that may have passed us by. It doesn’t have to be this way!
Today, we’ll welcome a very special guest, Helen Kozlowski-Hicks, President and CEO of the Macomb County Habitat for Humanity (Michigan). Ms. Kozlowski-Hicks has found her passion serving others. Not only does she possess 20 years experience leading nonprofit organizations including the Food Bank of Oakland County, Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, and the Michigan AIDS Coalition, but she is a wife, mother of a special-needs child, and community leader. Ms. Kozlowski-Hicks lives a life of passion and fierce determination!
Join us for a lively discussion on ways you can connect more deeply to the source of your inspiration!
Beloved, if you want heaven to be your home, you must keep your garments white, meaning that you must make holiness your lifestyle becaue without holiness no man shall see the Lord (Hebrew 12:14)! There are many today who say that they are Christians, yet they are living sinful lifestyles. In Matthew 7: 21-23, Jesus strongly warns us about the eternal dangers for Christians who talk the talk but don't walk the walk. He said, ?Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?' And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!' Here you see it. A person who calls Jesus Lord, yet practices a lifestyle of sin will not enter into the kingdom of Heaven! In today's teaching, We're going to begin to discuss the practicalities of exactly how you can live a holy life in such an unholy world. You'll be surprised that it's much easier than you'd think - YES YOU CAN LIVE HOLY!

Anybody who has an honest way of making a living needs to be congratulated regardless of their pay scale. Some people diss people who work in fast food restaurants or who work in the service industry but a job is a job and if we didn't have people to work in those industries then we wouldn't get served and then what? Every job is important.
