Dr. Cathy Reimers, Ph.D., psychologist in New Jersey, and co-host Jennifer Russello, parent in New Jersey, continue the tough discussion on predators looking to exploit and sexually abuse our children, specifically predators in the child’s own family committing “incest”. On our last show, we talked about the recent horrendous reports of children being abused and exploited by those in authority; teachers, coaches, priests, Scout leaders, even police officers. Today we are going to talk about how more than half of all children who are sexually abused are abused by a parent or other relative. Incest, or “familial abuse” is occurring at an increasingly shocking rate more than most people could imagine. Families have become experts at keeping such secrets. Join us to discuss how to recognize the signs of incest, how to protect our children, and how to help those who have been abused come forward. A predator may be living in your home and it’s time that you know.

I don't want someone else to represent me and make decisions about how I should live my life, when I know what's best for me and can represent myself. I am not a republican, I am not a democrat. I'm not a liberal, I'm not a conservative. I will not allow you to define me, or force me to join one of your gangs. I am an individual and I believe in freedom and liberty for all people, regardless of race, gender, or sexual orientation as all human beings have a right to freedom and liberty. I will stand up to government oppression and do what I can to educate the public on the illusion and or lack of true freedom in America.

Join Sonia Nadina Haynes as she talks about forgiveness. Guilt is one of the most physically damaging emotions in our lives. When we feel guilt about one thing or another it is challenging for us to forgive. Just so you know, forgiveness does not mean that we condone others' behavior, no. It means that we examine the situation, look at the role we played in it and forgive ourselves for getting caught up in an expereince that was not positive for us. Emotionals cna create good health or bad. It is necessary for us to become conscious of how we are treating our bodies by looking at how we are truely feeling.
It is imposible for us to forgive others if we do not forgive ourselves first.
Sonia Nadina Haynes is an emotional Healing Therapist and Intuitive Life Coach. She has the ability to see into your past, present and your future and she guides you to your heart's desire.
Long-distance relationships are not for the faint of heart. Sure, the beginnings of love feel like hearts and giggles and imaginings of what’s to come, but what about the lagging times in the middle when you’re physically apart, and love and admiration start to wage a private war against life-sized fears and doubt? Is this relationship worth it? Are you fooling yourself? Does this person really like me? Do we have what it takes to survive this?
Take a break from those self-defeating thoughts for a moment and consider this: it’s perfectly natural to feel doubt and fear in the lulls of a long-distance relationship. In the frustrating times between those magical long weekends and planned visits, you just want to spend time with someone that you really like and who you want to really like you, too. You need reassurance that your strong feelings of love and admiration are reciprocated. So what do you do? How do you cope with a long-distance relationship?
But before you judge your friends in long distance relationships, stay tuned in to the show tonight as we discuss 10 ways that long distance relationships can help, rather than hurt, a couple: "Positive Controversy"
