IndieReview Behind The Scenes w/ Author(s) Jeffrey Cook and Katherine Perkins!

    in Entertainment

~~Hello Everyone! My name is Michelle Cornwell Jordan, I am your host!

~~The definition of Maverick is an unorthodox or independent-minded person.

I have the pleasure of chatting with two of these "Thinking Outside The Box Artists" Science Fiction and Fantasy Author(s) Jeffrey Cook and Katherine Perkins!

Jeffrey Cook has a full house, living with his wife of 15 years, one housemate who frequently asks him how the latest book is coming, and 3 large dogs. All three dogs are rescues from PAWS – an organization he has backed for some time, and is currently heading up an anthology series (Shakespeare Goes Punk) to help support.

The Dawn of Steam books were his first novels. His next planned novels are all Young Adult books, but he plans to return to the Dawn of Steam world and the early 19th century eventually.

    Contact: http://www.authorjeffreycook.com/

Katherine Perkins lives in Mobile, Alabama with her husband and one very skittish cat. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and will defend its cuisine on any field of honor. When not reading, researching, writing, or editing, she tries to remember what she was supposed to be doing."

Block Party 5K1 Book Discussion with Al-Saadiq Banks

    in Writing

Join Author Al-Saadiq Banks as he discusses his latest release, Block Party 5K1. This will be an interactive show so readers are encouraged to call in to discuss the book.

One of the most vicious gangsters to ever walk the streets of Newark is free to roam again after serving a 15 year prison sentence. Respected and feared by all, and loved by only a few, the Black Charles Manson was sentenced to death by lethal injection after his conviction for a trail of gruesome murders. The streets were finally able to breathe freely, believing that he would die in prison. His fate was sealed - until he met another Newark legend, the notorious kingpin, the Mayor.
! The Mayor controlled a great percentage of Newark's heroin trade for only five years as a free man, but as a Federal prisoner, he managed to control that trade for over a decade and a half. From behind bars, the Mayor spent over a quarter of a million dollars cash to secure Man- son's freedom. In return for the funding, Manson offered his lifesaver control of his army to use at his disposal. Once the Mayor was finally released, Manson submitted his army over to him as promised.
! With the Mayor's high quality heroin coupled with Manson's army behind him, they had the perfect recipe for success. Manson issued strict orders for his army to provide 24-hour pro- tection over the Mayor. Somehow his orders were disregarded and the Mayor was assassi- nated. How or by whom, Manson has not a clue. For years he's sat in prison praying he could get back on the streets to get revenge. Now, his prayers have been answered.
! As a free man, Manson discovers the code of the streets have changed drastically, and the hit on the Mayor came from within Manson's own camp. A man on a mission; will he track the murderer down and have his revenge, or will he be devoured by the new era of gangsters and meet the same fate as the Mayor?

Talk to literary agent, Jeanie L oiacono, and author, James Washburn

    in Spirituality

A facilitator of dreams, Jeanie Loiacono represents over sixty authors. Her forte is mystery, romance, thrillers, historical/military/southern fiction, and all quality fiction/nonfiction. Her passion is to see her authors succeed.”I am a facilitator of dreams.”

“There is nothing more rewarding than to hold one of my author’s books and know I helped bring it to fruition. I am so blessed and privileged to be able to work with some of the most talented writers in the world.

James Washburn was born and raised in rural Wisconsin, initiating an intimate rapport with the natural environment and life in the North Country. Drawing from his connections to native North American Indian and Inuit people, as well as a deep personal spiritual history in traditional Christianity, he weaves a story that transcends ethnicity and culture. He speaks to the universal desires of the human heart with simplicity and passion.

“Life is too important to spend it making a living” – has been Washburn’s mantra since youth. Choosing a three-decade career in education gave him time for extensive travel and experience within many of the most remote corners of North America. His appreciation for solitude and a self-reliant nature, however, belie his enthusiasm to promote an understanding of humanity’s interdependence and the unity of all people. Washburn’s education includes degrees in geography, health, and learning resources along with extensive scholarly study in historical theology and psychology. He is also an able photographer and experienced speaker. His current communion with Mother Earth has been a complete hike of the approximate 1,200 mile long Ice Age trail.

Wynn Free: Recent Messages to Mankind from The Eloheim Council

    in Religion

Wynn's guest tonite is Terry Miller, (ManWhoWalked.com)

The Man Who Walked with Jesus is the amazing story of Jesus told from the point of view of his most prolific scribe, the disciple Matthew. It brings to the forefront the most important aspects of what Jesus was teaching. It reads  like a brilliant fantasy/fiction except the person who wrote the book, did so believing he had direct memories of being there on the road with Jesus and that he was in fact the reincarnation of said scribe of Jesus.
