    Writings of Abraham II

    in Religion

    From a papyri found in Egypt 1831

    1 AND when Noah was four hundred and fifty years old, he begat a son and he called his name Japheth.

      2 Fortytwo years later he begat another son of her who was the mother of Japheth, and he called his name Shem.

      3 Eight years later Noah begat a son of his wife Naamah, who was of the seed of Cain, and he called his name Ham, for he said, Through him will the curse be preserved in the land.

    CHAPTER 12

      1 NOW Noah had taken a wife of the seed of Cain, and she was a righteous woman; nevertheless, the curse remained with her seed according to the word of God.

      2 And Noah took her on this wise: For the word of the Lord came unto Noah, saying, Take unto thyself Naamah, the daughter of Lamech, who dwelleth here in the city of thy fathers, for she hath been faithful to my gospel, wherefore I shall preserve through her the seed of Cain through the flood.

      3 This Lamech who was the father of Naamah was of the seed of Cain being the son of Methusael, the son of Mahujael, the son of Irad, the son of Enoch,
    the son of Cain.

    in Religion

    This world is a deceitful matrix predisposing men to reject truth long before ever hearing it!  WOE on them who RESIST the WORD of TRUTH expecting yet to be TAUGHT!   Blessed are who overcome deceitful worldly misorientations! (Heb.10:26-11:2, 12:12-15, Rom.6:1-3>-14, John 14:15-17, Dan.12:10)  The GRACE of YAH exalts NO ONE above HIS LAW!   GRACE grants none the right to dissuade, exploit nor enslave the people!   GRACE grants NONE right to RULE against RECONCILIATION of a PEOPLE!

    Saving truth is fully discerned only by the most reverently humble reasoning obedient favored soul. He who looses all sense of reason his FLESH being enticed, how STABLE is he?   Whose child is he?   What or who has he utmost believed to love?

    Rom 4:3  For what says the scripture? ABRAHAM believed YAH, and it was accounted unto him unto righteousness.

    Gal 3:3  Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by what seems wise after fleshly misadministrations?  3:5  He therefore who ministers to you by the Spirit, and reveals the exceeding word of truth among you, does he do so  by conceits of MEN, or by hearing in obedience to FAITH directly revealed by YAH?  3:6  Even as ABRAHAM believed YAH, and it was accounted to him unto RIGHTEOUSNESS. 3:7  Know ye therefore they which are of FAITH in the EXCEEDING WORD HIDDEN from the WORLDLY; these are the CHILDREN OF ABRAHAM.

    The Sacrifice of Abraham and Isaac

    in Religion

    Many people have questions as to why the Most High would allow Sarah, the wife of Abraham, to give birth to Isaac in her old age; blessing both with the son they had desired for so long and then later ask Abraham to offer Isaac as a burnt offering.  Was this scenario just about testing Abraham's loyalty and allegiance as such behavior sounds homicidal and not characteristic of a just and loving God.  Was there more to the story which would expound upon certain aspects which might fill in detail and bring story to light in different way? We will utilize the book of Jasher to revisit details of the story which could present it in new light.

    Sacred Sunday~Romans 4/God and Abraham

    in Religion

    Welcome Church! We are here every Sunday to read the Bible, tell personal stories and pray together because when two or more are gathered.....In a non-judgemental down to earth format. God bless you every one! Today we are reading Romans Chapter 4!

    How does Paul know all this? Because of Abraham. Remember him from way back in Genesis?Paul explains that the Bible tells us that Abraham believed in God, and because of this, God thought he was a swell guy. And it certainly wasn't because he was an awesome juggler (he wasn't). God liked Abraham because Abraham had faith in him. God is pretty big on people putting their faith in him.  Well, just remember that God was cool with Abraham before he was even circumcised. In fact, the main reason that Abraham got circumcised was to mark himself with a sign of his new relationship with God. So Abraham is basically a stand-in for everyone who has ever believed in God, but has not been circumcised. Gentile-Christians, we're looking at you. Like Abraham, no one has to work to get on God's good side. You just gotta have faith. Really, Paul says, if people could just go around doing nice things and win God's favor, then what would be the point of believing at all? When God promised Abraham that he would have lots of kids and that he would go on to be "the father of many nations," Abraham didn't doubt God. Sure, Abraham was over a hundred years old. And his wife, Sarah, was pretty much barren. But Abraham still believed it would happen. And you know what? It did. Now that's some strong believing. So there, Paul says. Faith! Abraham had faith in God's promises.  If someone believes in Jesus—that he died so that our sins could be crossed off God's ledger and that he came back to life so that we could be square with God again—then that person is a-okay by God.       Tonight's Topic: The Amazing Power of Deliberate Intent: Living the Art of Allowing Part 3 by Esther and Jerry Hicks

    Description of the book: (copied from the book's back cover)

    This leading edge book by Esther and Jerry Hicks, who present the teachings of the Non-Physical entity Abraham, is about having a deliberate intent for whatever you want in life, while at the same time balancing your energy and living the Art of Allowing along the way.  But it's important to note that the awareness of the need to balance your energy is much more significant than goal-setting or focusing on ultimate desires.  And it is from this very important distinction that this work has come forth.

    Abraham Taught Astronomy in the Courts of Pharoah

    in Religion

    From Flavius Josephus:

    2. For whereas the Egyptians were formerly addicted to different customs, and despised one another's sacred and accustomed rites, and were very angry one with another on that account, Abram conferred with each of them, and, confuting the reasonings they made use of, every one for their own practices, demonstrated that such reasonings were vain and void of truth: whereupon he was admired by them in those conferences as a very wise man, and one of great sagacity, when he discoursed on any subject he undertook; and this not only in understanding it, but in persuading other men also to assent to him. He communicated to them arithmetic, and delivered to them the science of astronomy; for before Abram came into Egypt they were unacquainted with those parts of learning; for that science came from the Chaldeans into Egypt, and from thence to the Greeks also. Antiquities; Flavius Josephus, Bk I, Chap 8.

    From a Man with a 3rd Grade Education--Joseph Smith:

    And I, Abraham, had the Urim and Thummim, which the Lord my God had given unto me, in Ur of the Chaldees;
    2 And I saw the stars, that they were very great, and that one of them was nearest unto the throne of God; and there were many great ones which were near unto it;
    3 And the Lord said unto me: These are the governing ones; and the name of the great one is Kolob, because it is near unto me, for I am the Lord thy God...
    4 And the Lord said unto me, by the Urim and Thummim, that Kolob was after the manner of the Lord, according to its times and seasons in the revolutions thereof; that one revolution was a day unto the Lord, after his manner of reckoning, it being one thousand years according to the time appointed unto that whereon thou standest. This is the reckoning of the Lord’s time, according to the reckoning of Kolob. Abraham 3:1–4
