SPECIAL TOPIC Night - "For Our Kids" - Deborah Maddison, and Tracy Baxter, Canadian activists from British Columbia, will welcome Glen Gibellina from Sarasota, Florida, as our US guest host. He has a unique perspective on what really goes on inside our courts and the damage to children and families as a result. The three of them will lead this evening's discussion about the Rights of Children and Families in North America. Tonight we are covering the deliberate malfeasance of the agencies we have in place to protect our children and how badly they are failing them. We're seeing an epidemic of children being physically, sexually and emotionally abused, and sometimes even killed. Tonight's show will include our International Forensic Child Abuse expert, Dean Tong from Tampa, Florida, and Canadian Legal Expert, Jack Hittrich, a lawyer from British Columbia, Canada. US legal expert lawyer Connie Reguli will also join us. Our first guest, Dr. Ruby Dillon from Orange County, California, has been on our show before. Every effort she has made to expose the truth and save her daughter, Lexi, has been met with seriuous judicial corruption. Another guest, here tonight to share her family's absolutely brutal ordeal at the hands of Social Services, is Angel Cook from Rio Vista, Texas. Angel's case is one of the most horrific and heartbreaking stories we've ever heard. ~~ Every two weeks a new THEME will be presented in this series, with frequent special guests speaking from their own experience. ~~ Please see our web page at: www.NAASCA.org/ForOurKids or write to: email@example.com

We are all called by God. We may not know it or see it but we are called nevertheless. No matter the task, we all have a role in advancing the kingdom of God. In His kingdom there is nothing unimportant. The scriptures has many examples of small tasks having significance. HOW DO WE KNOW THAT WE ARE CALLED? As we go through some scriptures, we will learn that God uses people of all stripes. The important aspect of our calling is to heed to it.
Today on Ep.oo5 of FAITH~IN~ACTION Radio, Richard Haas, will be address the topic that not all brothers and sisters are called to do the same thing in the army of God. There seems to be a disturbing trend developing in many groups of Christians today, especially those outside of traditional church environments. This trend deals with brothers & sisters in the Lord refusing to fellowship with their other brethren based on non conformist actions. In other words, it's you do everything I do; attend my bible studies, attend my church function, attend my out reach events etc all the time or we can't fellowship. This is not the attitude of Christ or a Christian in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Get you comment and questions ready and join us in the chat or call in during the show.
Although both parents have an obligation to support their children, typically one parent will make child support payments after a divorce (or after separation if the parents were never married).Judges have the authority to punish parents that violate (disobey) child support orders. If you already have a court order directing your child’s other parent to pay support and you aren’t receiving the payments, you can bring a motion for enforcement in superior court asking the court to issue additional orders and hold the non-paying parent in contempt. If the court finds that the non-paying parent is in contempt, a judge could impose fines and even jail time.

Tonight's special guest is Dr Janet Rosenzweig, MS, PhD, MPA, the national consultant for child sexual abuse prevention for Prevent Child Abuse America. In 2011, she drew on her experiences as a sex educator working with child abuse prevention to write "The Sex-Wise Parent: The Parent's Guide Protecting Your Child, Strengthening Your Family, and Talking to Kids about Sex, Abuse, and Bullying." Based on her experience, academic research and scores of interviews, this book has been hailed as a "breakthrough" full of "sound information and advice -- a must read for parents." Dr Rosenzweig writes, "Abusers count on the fact that kids don't like to speak to their parents about sex, and you don't want that to be true on your family." She says to use the news stories that appear concerning child abuse as an opportunity to teach your kids that people who sexually abuse children put their own pleasure above the pain they cause children. "Remind them that sometimes they dress it up like a friendship or a love relationship to confuse the child (or teen!). Remind them that anyone who wants to be sexual with a young person is selfish at best and a criminal at worse." NAASCA has often posted her shorter works in the "Featured Articles" and / or "News of the Week" sections of our web site. Dr Rosenzweig has been presenting workshops to parent and professional groups promoting the ideal that parents must be the primary sex educators of their children, learning how to support their overall sexual health and safety in the home, school and community.
This show is about the courage of two families to find answers to their child's undiagnosed illness. It is the story of learning to be the voice and advocate for your child. It is the story of never giving up or taking no for an answer. This is the story about wanting the absolute best for their child. This is the story of grace, love and strength.
