If you read one gay fiction novel this summer, make it Batty Bwoy by Max-Arthur Mantle. This novel has a universal message for anyone who feels different and longs to find themself and love. Join us for a fascinating discussion on same-sex desires from a Jamaican lens.
Make up sex. What exactly is it? What's it to you?
Is it a good thing? A bad thing? Something that all couples do? Something that has become more popular in the media in recent years? Is it safe? Is it dangerous? Is it something that makes up for an argument? Does it end with just an argument or disagreement or is violence sometimes what's being made up for?
Are there people who actually start arguments or fights in order to initiate make up sex? Would someone do that?
Is the sexual energy that comes after an argument healthy? Can it be unhealthy?
Is make up sex really just a cover up for domestic violence?
If you like make up sex but the person that you're with doesn't like it or understand it, how will that work? Can that work?
Do most people who engage in make up sex usually know what they are getting into or does it get introduced to some people at the most inopportune times? Can you learn to like it and if so what does that say about a person?
Boy are we gonna get into this one. The question is how will we get out of this one? LOL

Strangely Alright is a 5 piece Power Pop Band from the Seattle that Rockford Rowley from The Weekly Volcano says, “an undeniable emotional appeal. Ringing, triumphant chords and lyrics that allude to conquered tribulations immediately make the music relatable to everyone. Regan Lane's 80’s pop star experience, Ken Schaff''s driving hard rock influences, Preston Darvill's late 90’s heavy hitting grunge love affair, Ray Hayden's keyboard crush on all things prog rock and Sean Van Dommelen's crunchy white boy blues, all collide together creating their unique raw, energetic, sound deep seated with emotion. Lane’s charismatic presence and ability to get asses out of their seats and the underlying lyrical message of hope, empathy, and love live up to the title of the band’s upcoming single, COME ON, a catchy, edgy rock song that's a piece of sugar coated power pop!
Singer Songwriter Regan Lane has had placement and airplay of his heartfelt pop and rock songs on numerous TV shows throughout the US, including A&E's Biography, NBC Sports,VH1's Top Twenty Countdown and Best Week Ever, Anthony Bourdains' No Reservations and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew along with many other cable and network shows. His jubilant pop song 'U Won't Believe' was heard on NBC's "Race across America" and was also the theme song for "Puget Sounds TV", a Northwest TV show featuring local and national indie artists. "The Ocean Makes Her Cry'"was recently played on The Discovery Channels' "Strictly Sex With Dr. Drew: Am I Normal?" and his pop gem 'Junkie' was heard on Johnny Knoxville's MTV special. http://www.strangelyalright.com/welcome-to-strangely-alright

In romantic movies there's the classic plot of a man or a woman caught between two people. Both are desirable but in different ways. The classical storyline is the girl who's caught in the clutches of desire for the 'bad boy' and the 'good man'. The appeal of the bad boy with his devil-may-care smile, dark looks, or rebellious life. The steadfastness and dependability of the good man has his attractiveness as well. In the movies, it's a great story to watch unfold as the heroine decides who she'll choose.
In the spiritual realm, no one wants to be caught between two Gods. One is a God of love. The other, a God of hate. The one who hates you demands more and more from you until you feel you can't go any further. The one who loves you seems to be so far away you can't reach Him. When you call his name it’s as if He's not even listening. The God of hate however shows up on time to tell you just how wrong you are, how unworthy you are and how you'll never match up to His standards.
No one wants to be in a tug-of-war of this nature. No one.
On this episode of the Write Stuff, we'll be talking with Trudy Harder Metzger author of the memoir Between Two Gods. You can call in at 646-595-2083, press 1 to be live on air. Or, you can download the WLUV radio mobile app today. Any way you can, tune in
