When Your Partner Is Your Partner

    in Lifestyle

    By Caitlin Dewey

Having a million bucks these days isn’t as rare as you might think. In fact, according to Phoenix Marketing International, a firm that tracks the affluent market, more than 5% of U.S. households have investable assets of $1 million or more.

That's only one way to measure if someone's a millionaire, of course. A net worth of $1 million also qualifies; subtract liabilities, including mortgages and car loans, from assets, including home equity and retirement savings, to determine your net worth. Either way, hitting the million-dollar mark is no small feat.

Do you have what it takes to be a millionaire – and will you know how to live the good life when you become one? Take our quiz to find out the (often surprising) answers

    Read more at http://www.kiplinger.com/

Curves In 3D Welcome Derrick and Octavia May to the show tonight as our Special Guest. We would also like to Welcome Arethia Cowden aka Plus Size Sexy Diva of the hit show I Am Beauty as a Guest Host.  Blue and Swan will not be joining us tonight

    I Am My Social Media

    in Lifestyle

I Am M Social Media, A Slave to my Page!

Did you know that there are more than two billion active social media users worldwide, representing a global penetration rate of 28 percent?

That’s a huge number. And with it, comes a range of new and unique problems.

Addiction, for one. Social networking already accounts for 28 percent of all media time spent online, and users aged between 15 and 19 spend at least 3 hours per day on average using platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

18 percent of social media users can’t go a few hours without checking Facebook, and 28 percent of iPhone users check their Twitter feed before getting up in the morning.

According to this latest research, people in the U.S. check their Facebook, Twitter, and other social media accounts a staggering 17 times a day, meaning at least once every waking hour, if not more. But Americans aren’t even the most dependent on these networks when compared to denizens of other countries — in fact, smartphone users in Thailand, Argentina, Malaysia, Qatar, Mexico, and South Africa checked these networking apps at least 40 times a day. Seriously, how popular can you be?

How NOT to Be Consumed with Queenly Disappointment

It happens.  You are standing there in the spotlight.  Grasping tightly the hand of the other girl.  Waiting. Waiting. Waiting for the emcee to puh-lease announce the first runner up.  Because you know…if your name is not announced, then YOU are the newly crowned queen of the pageant!  Then, it happens.  You hear YOUR name.  Sudden disappointment engulfs your whole being.  From the follicle of the hairs on your head to the tips of your beautifully sculptured toenails.  “Nooooooo!  My name was not to be called!” you scream silently in your head.  All the work you’ve done.  All the time you’ve put in.  All the emotion spent getting to that moment on stage….and it wasn’t meant to be.

Well, I have wonderful news for you, my sister – all is not lost!

Actually, NOTHING at all was lost, but a whole lot gained.  Take a look at the journey you traveled getting to that point.  Look at the growth in many areas of your life that you went through.  There are a few pearls of wisdom I am sure you gleaned along the way.  Without traveling this journey you wouldn’t be stronger, smarter, wiser, and more beautiful, than had you not taken this voyage.  Even standing on that stage, under that glaring spotlight, and not winning the crown is all part of this beautiful journey.  Your life has meaning and purpose.  At that moment in time, it wasn’t your crown to win.  You put in the work.  You put in the time.  You put in the blood, sweat, and tears to get to that spotlight.

    Celebrate Good Times

    in Lifestyle

Words cannot express how deeply excited I am about tonight’s show…. Curves In 3D was a vision of mine for several years.  I did not know how to go about making it happen, so I kept putting it off.  I can remember having a conversation with one of my clients, telling them to stop overthinking it and just do it! I got off the phone with her and was assessing my notes and ran across my notes about having a Blog Talk radio show…. And I thought to myself…. You Hypocrite! I did, I did! You guys know I am transparent.

I knew I did not want to go it alone, so I reached out to my 3D Plus Modeling team and surprisingly enough I got several hits… Whoop! Whoop! The Team was born….

Auntie…. Hott Topics (Live and Uncut)

    Swan….. CN3D (Beauty)

Selena…. Throw Me A Curve (News)

    Kayann…. Fashion Forward (Trending Fashions)

After we had a few shows under our belt we added

Pastor Ann…. Food For Thought (Inspiration/Motivation)

Kayann, Ann & Selena decided to leave us so we added long time guest host Blue Amber to the family…

    Blue…. Throw Me A Curve

And last but not least Joy Amor has been added to the 3D family

    Ms Amor…. Fashion Forward

One year later and Curves In 3D Radio is going strong….. Thank you Swan, Blue and Joy, I could not do this without you ladies…. Thank you to some of our weekly listeners, Jarvis, Stacy, Pam, Angel and Ms. Pat…. Thank you to those who have been special guest and guest host.  Thank you to those who have called in and shared…. Yesssss Babee, I Love It!

Our family, friends and fans make it all possible.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart…. Continue to join us as we continue to make it All Happen…. Auntie

Visioning and Forecasting Creating Your Purpose Board

    in Lifestyle

    Vision Board Posted by sundaypoem

I love to celebrate happy accidents, and I love it when my desires slowly start to manifest, so in acknowledgment of this strange place in my life I decided to begin work on a vision board. In case you didn’t know a vision board is basically just a collage of words and images meant to display your dreams and desires, but it can also serve as an inner roadmap to navigate your current disposition. I decided to use a sketchbook so that I could do a series of smaller vision boards, or a vision book. That way I can repeat the process often and track my progress, see how I am changing and growing, and notice easily which areas I should improve.

My first step was to go through some old magazines and cut out any images or words that moved me in some way. Naturally that meant a good deal of foreign destination pictures, really amazing shoes, yummy looking foods, and varying sizes and colors of different cut-out words. I tried not to think too much about this process so that I wouldn’t know exactly what was going to happen on my board—I wanted it to be a very organic, self-actualizing experience. Once I had procured about a thousand or so scraps of paper that I felt very strongly about, I went through them and organized them into groups that went something like this in my mind: things that apply to me in this very moment, travel and exploration, fashion, health and exercise, reading and writing, and home life. After I sorted my cut-outs into these six groups (which they naturally fell into without any planning), I discarded anything that I no longer felt related to myself or my vision board.

    Power Play

    in Lifestyle

An unprecedented $1.6 billion Powerball jackpot will be divided among three winning tickets purchased in Tennessee, California and Florida.

Each ticket is worth $528.8 million, lottery officials said in California, one of 44 states plus Washington D.C. and two U.S. territories that sold millions of Powerball tickets.

The winning numbers were 08 27 34 04 19 and Powerball 10, picked in a drawing on Wednesday night. The odds of having the correct numbers: 1 in 292 million.

    1. How much of the jackpot goes to the winner and where does the rest of it go?

Winners should expect to keep only about a third of the advertised jackpot or cash payout

    2. Does the store that sold the winning ticket get anything?

Cohen said that the seller of the winning jackpot ticket will receive a $25,000 bonus from the lottery.

    3. Why do some states have more jackpot winners than others?

    "It’s pure randomness,"

    4. Have there been cases when people have called in thinking that they’re the winner only to be told that they are wrong?

"Those calls are no fun," Gerteisen said. "It’s more fun when they think they only won a little prize and it turns out they are a big winner!"

    5. What happens if someone tries to cash in a fake or falsified ticket?

The penalties differ by state and offenders can face criminal charges if caught.

    6. Why is this Powerball jackpot so large?

This Powerball jackpot started out as $40 million on Nov. 7, 2015, but there was no jackpot winner in that drawing or the 19 others that followed.

    7. How many tickets have been sold?

Since this jackpot started on Nov. 7, 1.325 billion tickets have been sold

Mama Didn't Raise No Victim WAR - Women Armed and Ready

    in Lifestyle

5 Reasons Why Women Should Carry

    1) The Great Equalizer... Women can be at a disadvantage when it comes to physicality. Being able to protect yourself, regardless of your size, is a vital component to your well being. Firearms can be the first step to self preservation if you have been properly trained. Similar to a martial arts course, becoming well versed in gun handling skills will allow a woman to be confident in situations that would typically render her vulnerable.

    2) Confidence Builder... What better way to build confidence then to know you can hold your own in any situation? Understanding firearms is the first step to building a strong foundation of self reliance. As you spend time in the range and become a more accurate shooter your confidence will grow. With this personal growth you will better trust your instincts and abilities.

    3) It’s Good To Be Self Sufficient... From youth on, women have been encouraged to become self sufficient in life, so why would a woman’s ability to protect herself be any different? Many aspects of life such as one’s education and career are left up to the individual to decide, so should how someone chooses to defend and protect their household.

    4) Utilizing Your Rights as an American... In 1791 the Bill of Rights outlined Americans’ basic liberties by naming the extent of governmental power within the newly formed nation.    Regardless of sex, it is important that all citizens of the USA regularly exercise the rights that more than a million Americans have died for, both past and present.

    5) Taking On a Leadership Role in Your Community... As women, we have the opportunity to set the pace for all female youth around the country. By educating yourself and young women on the importance of our Second Amendment rights, you will assist future generations in securing their safety and independence.
