Lisette Larkins has had extraordinary extraterrestrial encounters since childhood. The importance of them was to reveal to her the possibility of experiencing a “chronic state of well-being” and to inspire the recognition that, as spiritual beings in human bodies, we are designed to create to the same degree and with the same ability as extraterrestrials do! This means that the very purpose of our soul is to allow our imagination to run free and to be, do, and have anything and everything we want.We are designed to be Creative Beings! When we are not in the process of creating, we are actually spiraling downward. But we cannot create what we want when we are not feeling good.

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes USAT best-selling author Jennifer Bernard. Jennifer is the author of the HOT FIREMAN series and the new sexy contemporary romance book ALL OF ME. Jennifer says this: "It took me a while to find my true love, both personally and professionally. I grew up in a crazy, chaotic family of six. My father was a professor, my mother a poet, and neither could understand my love for romance novels. I started reading early, inhaling Nora Roberts, Victoria Holt, Georgette Heyer, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, along with Shakespeare and Anais Nin thrown in for variety. I graduated from Harvard University with a degree in History and Literature. I wanted to major in Creative Writing, but those students were supercool and I confess I was a geek. I knew I had to write. After college I worked for Macmillan Publishing in New York, where I wrote copy for yearly encyclopedia updates. Yes, it was writing, but I wanted to try something different. The something different turned out to be living on a fishing island in Maine. To fill the long winter nights, I began writing screenplays with my college roommate. And so my quirky career began." http://jenniferbernard.net. THIS IS A LIVE INTERVIEW - CALL 347-633-9609 TO JOIN US.

Carol J. Matthews-Shifflett, MA
Executive Director of the Sojourner Group, Salt Lake City, Utah. Ms. Shifflett has a Bachelors Degree in Cultural Anthropology and earned her Masters Degree in Community Leadership. After returning to college as a non-traditional student, Carol has been a proponent of empowering women and encouraging them to reach their highest potential. As the former Volunteer Coordinator for the YWCA, Salt Lake City, her career interest took on the direction of advocating for women in violent relationships. For the past 15 years she has been drawn to personal conversations with marginalized women of the African and Black Diaspora who often suffer in silence due to lack of cultural understanding from mainstream service providers. Carol has since been zealous in working to ensuring that Black women in Utah find their voices. As an active community leader, she firmly believes that leadership is not an individual venture, but one that involves a collective group of persons and personalities with a common goal of working for the good of the cause. Her chief principles are respect, integrity, communication, and commitment. It is with these qualities that she believes we can all collectively serve marginalized populations who have been victimized by sexual assault and domestic violence, improve the quality of their lives, and assist them on the journey of healthier lifestyles and families.
